A true Pittsburgh icon โ€” the legendary Jenny Lee Swirl Bread!
Baked with love by Five Generations Bakery in McKees Rocks, this family-owned bakery is the proud successor of the original Jenny Lee Bakery. While they bake up all kinds of delicious treats (including some amazing seasonal specialties), the Jenny Lee Swirl Bread is the original, the classic, the one yinz know and love!ย  Theyโ€™re baking over 100,000 loaves every week, with shifts going nonstop to keep up with demand. Even with some high-tech help, so much of the process is done by hand โ€” real people making real bread, the old-school way- every loaf is a labor of love.
You can find Jenny Leeโ€™s all-over local shelves, through QVC, and at their occasional pop-up shopโ€” bringing a little slice of Pittsburgh to fans near and far.
Give them a follow to see where you can grab a loaf next โ€” this swirl is something special.

Always enjoy some cinnamon toast in the am, love it so many ways w butter or smear of cream cheese. Just made the bread pudding recipe again with the cherry cinnamon swirl bread! Oh la la itโ€™s over the top delicious, made a simple milk icing. Yum, we are always on the run. This recipe w 1 loaf of bread made a 9X13 plus a 6X6 pan (give to our elderly neighbor, who loves it so much) We freeze it, grab a piece for breakfast, lots of eggs in the recipe for protein to get the day going.
Husband wants me to do the pumpkin swirl next w cream cheese icing.

I received my first Jenny Lee Swirl bread when I did my first triathlon many years ago. Iโ€™ve been hooked ever since, the bread is amazing and the family that owns the bakery are fantastic people.

I purchased a variety of 6 - 9 oz loaves of Jenny Lee swirl bread from QVC. My order arrived within 2 days via UPS and the exterior of the box was extremely hot. All of the breads were tightly packed in the box, hot to the touch and had somewhat flattened out. Even though the box was clearly marked perishable, I'm guessing other boxes were inadvertently placed on top. The company should consider using deeper boxes for shipping their delicate breads to avoid crushing.
The slices are less than 1/2" thick, not dense like most breads and get stuck in my toaster. The enclosed bread pudding recipes sound delicious and very tempting to make. BUT in my opinion it would take all 6 loaves to make a decent bread pudding for a family.
I'm extremely disappointed that the QVC presentation didn't live up to the products I received. Pretty expensive bread for $30.

I have ordered quite a few food items since June. The AZ heat impacts fresh and frozen items in transit for 2 days on UPS trucks since they aren't refrigerated. Kudos and 5 stars to all delivery drivers for all they do. Especially, delivering items to designated locations.
PS: In the future I will only order food items between October and April due to AZ hot weather .

Excellent hometown bakery. In 2023 I believe they have been in business over 60 years. Stopped at primary location in McKees Rocks Pittsburgh. Picked up a New Years pretzel. Also picked up cookies and a cake. Lastly, picked their super well known and very good cinnamon swirl bread. Great family owned Pittsburgh business. I would definitely recommend it!

I'm an OTR driver that picked up a load at their warehouse on 2/23/24... They was so nice there & also gave me a couple of loaves that I took home & my family loved it so much they asked me if I could get some more... so I ordered 22 loaves...lol
It makes excellent French toast & the cinnamon apple one tastes like an apple fritter when I made French toast with it...
Definitely will be buying again...

Just bought this from Heinen's here in Illinois. Had the Chunky Cinnamon Raisin. Best Cinnamon Raisin Bread I have ever had. We ate half the loaf in one sitting. Cant wait to try some other ones from them. This bread is like having grandma's home made bread. If you can get this bread buy it. You will not be disappointed. Love the brown sugar topping
