wanted to share with you my amazing experience at Jane and Paul's Farm. This farm is exceptionally clean and well-organized, and the blueberry patch is overflowing with juicy, high-quality blueberries. In just two days, I managed to pick 11 pounds of these delicious berries, and I can't wait to stock up my freezer with more.

During my visit, I saw several families enjoying the experience of picking blueberries, and the sight of the little children with their buckets was truly heartwarming. The owners are friendly and offer the best prices in the area. I have already recommended this fantastic farm to my neighbors with children and my friends, and I highly encourage you to pay them a visit as well.

Definitely NOT a good place to bring kids. All of the reviews about the nasty owners are accurate. There is zero customer service at this farm. It is also cash only and, they claim, a three pint minimum. With so many other family-friendly PYOF farms in the area, avoid Jane & Paul's.

Delicious, abundant blueberries grown and easy to pick. If you’re in the area and an adult, this is a great experience.

Do not, however, bring any children with you. This is not a family friendly farm. Perhaps if you have a baby or containable toddler, you can escape without getting admonished by the owners.

We arrived with a car full of enthusiastic boys (7-12) who were excited to pick blueberries. A wholesome experience that doesn’t involve a screen, I was delighted that they were excited to find and pick the best blueberries. At one point, they tossed a few of the shriveled blueberries that fell into our bucket on the ground. Out of nowhere the farmer owner emerged demanding that the children “get out” which confused all of us. When we didn’t move fast enough for him, he asked “do you know what out means?” I had no idea what had happened and the kids tried to explain but he wasn’t interested. He drove us out of the row, reprimanding me and the children along the way.

At that point I should’ve left without any blueberries, but since we drove 40 mins to get there, the children sat at a picnic table while I quickly picked. The wife farmer watched them fiercely, yelling “no” when my son asked if he could come talk to me.

The kids may have tossed a few blueberries aside, but certainly no more than those that already littered the ground from other pickers or that remained rotting on the plant. When we defended our well mannered kids to the wife owner, she claimed that one of the other parties complained that they were yelling and running around. Not true at all. If they yelled anything it was “look at this blueberry I just found!”

Save yourself a trip and skip this if you have children.

We just had a delightful morning picking blueberries at Jane and Paul's Farm. Plenty of plump blueberries to pick, and friendly sheep. This is the real deal - a down home farm with no amusement rides or a zoo full of unhappy creatures. Highly recommend.

The apple picking was great! Tons of apples ripe and ready to pick plus there were still a lot of apples close to the ground for anyone with little ones who want to do the picking themselves! They also had goats, chickens and ducks for the kids to feed and the woman working in the farm store was very helpful and nice!

Ok farm. Staff alright. Fruits and veggies tasted really good. I bet there is much better out there. But for anyone in the area or in nearby towns come and take a swing by here. Fun place to take children as well. Chicken and goat feeders,(25c-not so cheap!) also, a well designed corn maze, summer blueberry picking, and tons of corn!!! Stop by their cute little store, containing a small, but useful amount of healthy grown items. Used to have more many years ago and are supposedly "catching up". Decent. And that's it Jane and Paul.

Came again for blueberry picking. You could grab the ones in the store rather than picking them in the fields, but where is the fun in that!!!! Field of blueberry plants full of bugs, but I really didn't care! Fun experience! I have to admit, their fresh blueberries from the fields were good!!! But, if you have to save time just buy a pack in the store, they also had a good taste. Cost ain't cheap though! :-} But you get fresh blueberries in the end!!!! 😉

Picking fresh blueberries fast and intense; we got there late. Picked three pounds of berries in fifteen minutes, bunches like grapes. Great flavor intensified by drought and all days sunny.

Fair warning! Save your money and DO NOT support this business. I'm all about locally owned, small business but this must be reported. The owner has a problem with children and continually admonished my child for touching her produce. "Stooop! Just stoooop!" She yelled. When I said I was going to post a review based on our treatment, she
replied "no one will believe you!" Astonishingly rude way to treat a customer! I've never had a complete stranger discipline my child or treat us this way. I was gobsmacked! I've since spoken to friends who have also reported similar rude treatment. If you scroll down to one of the reviews- you will see very similar complaints.

Farms are sensory experiences and children being constantly reprimanded does not make a happy experience. Clearly she cares more about her precious goards then she does her customers. Then I hope her goards make her happy bc she has several less customers.
