I had researched several breeders, studied the photos of their puppies, spoke with them etc. I knew exactly what I wanted and was willing to wait. I’m so glad I did! I had the best experience with Island Farms! He was patient with my questions, FaceTimed me with puppies, and stayed true to exactly the terms we agreed on. He knew what I was looking for. I can’t love my puppy more, she is adorable and healthy! She came to me at 8 weeks knowing her name, knowing how to fetch and using a pee pad. She was no stranger to snuggles either. Such a win!! Thank you.

I had the most amazing experience with Island Farms/Mimi’s Dachshunds! From the moment I reached out, the communication was outstanding—Michael responded immediately to my message on Facebook and was so kind and helpful throughout the process. They even let me FaceTime with my puppy before bringing her home, which was such a special experience.

The farm and town of DeLand is absolute cutest as well, and it’s clear the dogs are raised in a happy, loving environment. My puppy, Cher, was able to potty on the way home when I laid her pee pee pad on the floor of my trunk. I was very impressed! She also was taught her name before I received her which I believe gave her more confidence. She is very smart, just like her breeders! 😊 Michael also sent me home with an entire kit for my long-haired miniature dachshund, which made the transition so much easier.

I really appreciated the videos he shared of the parents and past puppies—it gave me so much confidence in the care and quality they provide. Cher is so sweet and perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

Thank you, Island Farms/Mimi’s Dachshunds, for everything! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an English Cream miniature dachshund.

I got my almost 9 month old puppy from Island Farm Dachshunds this past summer. We brought home Fig and she has been the happiest and healthiest puppy of all time! Mike was super diligent in communicating with me everything I needed to know about Fig prior to picking her up. I love Island Farm Dachshunds and would not hesitate to get another puppy in the future!🐶

Island Farms Dachshunds is an amazing breeder and it shows in their pups! I had the pleasure of bringing home miss Honey and I couldn’t be happier. Not only is she a beautiful and healthy pup (received compliments from my vet at both check ups), but since day 1 it was obvious she had great training and care. She is sweet, spunky, and so smart.
