Just left here… it’s Sunday night. We’re visiting the area for just a few days. Walked down here for some pizza. Waitress (Courtney I think?… started with a “C” anyway) was great! Helped us with the craft beer selection & talked us into also getting some wings (bonus… they were on a deal tonight!!). She said the wings were the best.

Guess what. They were!!! Wings were absolutely the best I’ve had in a long while. And the pizza? OMG! That crust was off the chart!! This very may have been the best pizza I’ve ever ate!!

We walked to the bar to pay our tab & I interjected myself into a shot cheers session (me with my craft beer & all lol).

I wish I had found this place when we first got here. I think I would have ate here every night.

Great job folks!!! And have fun on your NC visit “C”!!!

I highly recommend the Iron Hand Brewing location!!

Ironhand Brewing feels more like a family restaurant than a traditional brewery hangout. I originally called several days in advance and asked if it would be a good spot for a bachelorette party. The guy on the phone said yes—but when we showed up, we were seated in the middle of a loud dining room surrounded by kids. It was super awkward and definitely not the vibe we were looking for. I wish he had been upfront about the atmosphere.

The space itself felt impersonal, yet somehow too close—like everyone was on top of each other. The bench seating at our table was so heavy I couldn’t scoot up to eat comfortably, which made for an awkward dining experience.

I ordered the vegan nachos, which were extremely disappointing—sparse toppings, bland flavor, and definitely not worth the price. To top it off, the waitress upsold me on a couple of extra veggies without mentioning there’d be an extra charge. That was a surprise on the bill.

By the end of the night, the vibe had completely shifted. The families cleared out, and it was just a handful of older men lingering around—not exactly the kind of crowd you want to be part of a celebration.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place for events or special outings. Maybe it’s fine if you’re local and bringing kids, but for anything else, especially something like a bachelorette party, it’s a miss.

Hidden away a bit in Mobile, it’s a comfy spot with good pizza and drinks. The staff is happy to talk through the options they have and answer any questions.

Cute little brewery. You can tell it's in an old church like building- but still so cool/cute. The staff were all super friendly and speedy. We ordered the Blueberry crumble beer on tap and it was very light and refreshing. The Spinach Artichoke and bacon pizza was so yummy! Overall great! Highly recommend popping by!

A great brew house off the main strip offering an excellent place to relax and enjoy amazing beer.

The food on this visit was a miss since the amazing prior food selections were not offered. Only wings and pizza available on this visit, so had to go elsewhere for food since was not in the mood for those selections. Hope the full menu returns.

Eeyore in protest of the food situation snorted some sugar, but then was satisfied by the outstanding beer. The Prince Conti IPA has a bolder color and more hearty flavor than the average IPA. This beer is worth filling up a growler. And the other beer selections are also well reviewed.

Well. Can't rate this one as a food place, although Eeyore says the sugar was great. But we do all agree the beer is wonderful and the staff friendly and the vibe comfortable. So 5 stars for what we did get to sample here.

This is one of our favorite places to go because of the variety. Tonight we wanted pizza and beer! Pumpkin Poltergeist with Reuben pizza and Supreme Pizza. The beer was not too spicy, I wished for the ghost pepper. Both pizzas were fresh and handmade, but the Reuben pizza was exceptional. This was the 1st time to visit on Friday. They were packed which is a great sign! (They even had a private party. They cater!)

The oldest brewpub in Mobile, but still staying relevant and up to date. The beer styles tended toward mild, but nuanced flavors (like an unfiltered, but darker IPA or a smoked Wee Heavy). Complemented well with guest taps, recently including an impressive sour from Parish. Not having a kids' menu is a bit inconvenient, but we split an adult brunch between our two. Hearty, southern hits for brunch.
