This was our first time visiting a Pumpkin Patch.

I did a thorough search of the Pumpkin Patches around Austin and I ended up choosing this one because they also have some animals and I wanted my 9-month old baby to see those.

We loved that the Patch is among oak trees so we got plenty of shade which made our visit more enjoyable.

You can get great photos basically everywhere in the place.

I’d never seen an American Bison in person, so I was impressed at their size.

You have to come to this patch. You won’t regret it

Indian Springs Ranch could be a decent outing if it were priced reasonably—around $9 per person. But let’s be real: for $20 a ticket, the experience falls flat. The park is small, with just a handful of animals and a few kids' bounce areas. That’s really all there is to it, and while that might be fine for a quick stop, it doesn’t justify the steep price.

For comparison, places like farms in Chicago offer so much more for the same $20 admission—think train rides, tractor tours, massive stores, haunted hills, corn mazes, and a full day of fun activities. Indian Springs Ranch feels like a rip-off in contrast. It lacks variety, depth, and overall value.

If the tickets were half the price, this would have been a fair deal. But as it stands, the experience is underwhelming and overpriced. Save your money unless they lower the price or seriously upgrade what’s offered.

So much more than a pumpkin patch! Lots of things for the kids to do & even cider is sold for the parents to enjoy! Added bonus - the whole place is nice and shaded to make for an enjoyable outing even when it’s 90 out! Highly recommend this spot for families!

This pumpkin patch feels like your best friend’s backyard, but with all the instagrammable scenes, wildlife to feed, and picnic tables nestled beneath the oak trees. The land is well shaded and fenced in for safe play. Activities include a giant bounce blob, a climbing web, and an organic, non-gmo, dust-free corn pit for the best sensory play this side of Texas. There’s more, but I have to leave some element of surprise! For the adults, you have a burger food truck, lemonade stand -not too sweet, so delicious, and Texas Keeper -Hard- Cider available for purchase. Pick up your carving pumpkins, pie squashes, and decorating gourds here! Use their carts to transport to your car - parking is easy, easy. Make a day of your visit! Bring a picnic or show up on short notice and make use of the amenities! Be sure your camera is charged and you wear your favorite fall attire because there will be many photo ops!! Look for the owners sitting nearest the big Indian Springs sign to give your thanks and ask questions about the creatures. You’ll find zebra, camel, buffalo, and so much more! This place packs a family-fun punch with all the places to rest while your kiddos play, laugh, and get curious; even the teenagers. 🧔🧔🧔 PS don’t miss the red tractor or hanging cauldron for unique fall photos

We had such a great time at Indian Springs Ranch! Dylan was very accommodating to our travel plans and an awesome guide throughout the ranch. He let us take our time with the animals and answered all of our questions. The animals on the ranch were friendly and we very much enjoyed our time feeding them. He even let us hold the baby kangaroo! Definitely recommend!

The kids loved it, Dylan was knowledgeable about the animals and we learned a lot! I like that this started as just a family who loves animals and only became a business after the public showed growing interest. Would definitely come back if I was in town with kiddos again and I also think it would be fun for a group of adults who love animals and are looking for something off the beaten path to do. All the adults had just as much fun as the kids.

Nestled in the heart of Texas, Indian Springs Ranch stands as a testament to the beauty and diversity of the Lone Star State's wildlife. A recent visit to this enchanting ranch has left an indelible mark on my memory, compelling me to share the experience with fellow nature enthusiasts and animal lovers.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Indian Springs Ranch was not your typical tourist attraction. The immersive experience began with a warm welcome from Dylan, our tour host, whose passion for the animals was palpable. His extensive knowledge about each species, many of which were born and raised on the property, added a rich layer of education to our adventure.

The proximity to the animals was nothing short of astonishing. The opportunity to interact with the Texas longhorns, cows, water buffaloes, and yaks provided a unique, personal connection to these majestic creatures. Each animal had its own personality, from the playful kangaroos to the dignified camel and zebra, all of which seemed to relish human company.

Chief, the White buffalo, was the undisputed star of the show. This gentle giant, with his serene demeanor, allowed us to feed him by hand, an encounter that was both thrilling and humbling. It's rare to find such a magnificent animal that exudes calmness and commands respect in equal measure.

Dylan's professionalism shone throughout the tour. His constant communication ensured a seamless experience, reflecting the ranch's commitment to guest satisfaction.

Indian Springs Ranch is more than just a place to see animals; it's a sanctuary where the bond between humans and nature is celebrated and nurtured. For anyone seeking a genuine and heartwarming encounter with some of Texas's most iconic wildlife, I cannot recommend Indian Springs Ranch highly enough. It's a jewel in Austin's crown that promises an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
