I attended a private event here. The restaurant and party room is absolutely gorgeous. The heritage building is very well maintained. The food was good not exceptional. The service was outstanding. Overall great experience. It's a great location for some memorable pictures so make sure you do that.

My amazing boyfriend booked us the chefs table at Hyeholde tonight for my belated birthday!
The menu is laid out as below, my apologies, I forgot to take pictures of the truffled beet salad and the fennel sorbet!
Every dish complimented the last, and the kitchen was clean and so well run!
All staff members were attentive and so very kind.
Chef and staff explained each dish as they were served and we were able to watch them be prepared.
Wine recommendations were on point for our meal.
Everyone was exceptionally kind and wanted to ensure an amazing meal service, and the knocked it out of the park!!

We went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday last night and were blown away! The apple butter is the best I’ve ever tasted. The vegetables, fruit, and cheese were very fresh and flavorful. Their rosemary cheese is incredible. We ordered the cheese plate and pear vinaigrette salad for apps, chicken and vegetarian feast for our entrees and the lemon dessert paired with basil ice cream for dessert. We ordered a bottle of pinot noir per the chef’s suggestion and it was delicious. Their atmosphere makes you feel like you're far away from home and transported back in time. Daniela was the best waitress either of us have had. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and funny. It was an incredible experience and we plan to come in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating.

We had a lovely and romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Hyeholde. Venue was absolutely beautiful, and the entire experience was really special. Staff welcomed us and gave a tour of the historical building, and escorted us to a table right by the fireplace. Menu had a variety of options, and you can't go wrong - everything was delicious. Drinks were unique and we really enjoyed the creative cocktails. I'd definitely recommend for a special occasion.

This place is such a hidden gem that I almost did not want to create this review so that I can cherish this spot for myself.

The restaurant is in a castle from 1937. Despite the old castle, this place is surprisingly really clean and well maintained. Also, this restaurant being a historic landmark, I assumed this restaurant would be one of those overpriced/over-rated places. I was wrong to assume so.
The cocktails are $15 and absolutely a delight. The white lavender Negroni was so smooth and probably the best negroni I had in Pittsburgh.

The clam chowder was a bit salty. The pasta was really good. Overall, came out to be $80 per person for (cocktail+appetizer+entree). Would come again for special occasion.

Had dinner there last night it was incredible. The restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress was great, informative, and attentive. Highly recommend the rack of lamb and braised short rib

Wonderful dining experience. Everything was cooked to perfection. The elk was over the top delicious. Our servers were very informative, polite and attentive. Our table was very private and adjourned with a lovely bouquet . The creme brulee was very very good.

We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at the Hyeholde Restaurant chef's table and it was phenomenal. I could go on and on about how great it was from beginning to end. Perfect way to celebrate! The food, drinks, and service were all impeccable. I'd recommend letting them pair wine with your meal.
