They don’t take credit card even if your subtotal is $9. They are solely concerned with evading taxes and have no regard for customer satisfaction. Avoid this business as much as possible.
Damaged goods, expired products

A very good Indian grocery with lot of fresh made Indian foods for Togo. They have full kitchen on location for ordering foods for a party . They have food bar stand as well where you can try their food in small quantity. Taste of their food is not very great but not bad too. For single person or a quick Indian food you can stop by and get it in a container. They have a some sweets collections as well. Store size is medium with core collection of Indian grocery , spices , etc., sometimes their packed items may not be fresh and closer to expiry date. Check before you get in the basket. vegetables are fresh but not lot of variety. Pricing is average , some items are bit cheaper then competition. Support this small store and hope they correct their issues and stay strong with competition.

Hi. Here goes my review. My husband and I found out this place by “mistake”, we were looking for hot chocolate across the street and stopped by this Indian store bc we love Indian food ( He is Indian, I’m not) BUT I REALLY LOOOOOVE Indian food. We have tried many places around the area and none are as good as the one from this store, we gave it a try like 2 weeks ago and we have been getting food since then, every 3 o 4 days. The spicy level is perfect, the condiments are the necessary to make a perfect dish and the service is amazing. Very kind and welcoming people. We are obsessed ❤️ thank you for delicious food. We have gotten Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala and Chana Tikka Masala + their Naan. 20/10

Relatively smallish Indian store which works as mini takeout restaurant too. Its nicely located in marchwood area.
Its well stocked with all the needs of Indian diaspora. Vegitables are fresh and well priced. Ready to cook items are also in stock.
It also has various sweets on sale. You can order readymade fresh food items and naans too.
And remember its closed on Mondays

I just had one of the worst experience with this grocery store. So, we got our stuff and walked out checking the bill. I saw they wrongly billed an item, (vermicelli) which we didn't buy and we went to check with the cashier. She then brought out a very loud and rude guy, who went in to check a video apparently. He came out and completely elevated the situation by saying , it looks like we did buy them. We said we are sure we didnt, he went on to say, you guy went to the car and I dont know what happened there. (?!). We got super shocked and hurt, and wanted to see the video. In the video, we are buying something which was clearly not vermicelli. The vermicelli pack was a red one and we were billing a yellow packet in the video (it was the sev packet we got). When we asked them it’s clearly something else, That guy kept saying very derogatory stuff. He just refused point blank to listen.

We came home very hurt, and did our tallying and it was immediately clear what went wrong. Listen to this, There was only one item that was $7.55 and it turned out to be a paneer packet. Probably, there was no code for that brand. So, The cashier lady must have charged it under Vermicelli. I'm sure she knows this fumble, But she was hiding behind a samosa counter, when we were arguing. And the rude guy, didn't even think twice, before putting a blame on his longtime customers.

Here's what I would suggest you Himalayan store guys, Before you embarrass your customers, stop to think what might have gone wrong and try giving the benefit of doubt to customers. And try keeping some fresh stock, most of your products are expired. And , we if we walk in for an exchange, you guys are very rude for that as well. I would highly recommend the owners of this store to remove this rude guy and that incapable cashier from the store. But if he is the owner himself, too bad for the store 🙂 Know your billing system better, respect your customers and seriously, grow some brains.

Ive been frequenting this place for years. Its a grocery store at its core, however they have a kitchen and a full menu of true authentic Indian food. Very flavorful and moderately priced. If you need any ingredients for your Indian dish, they have it!

I ordered chicken tikka, roti and biriryani. Chicken tikka and roti were ok ok.. but biriyani one of the worst that I had.The biriyani was joke. I think they have run out of biriryani and just added chicken tikka pieces to vegitable rice. The rice had green peas more than that it was stale. I attached biriyani photo which looks like maggi ..

I have gone to this place to order Indian grocery. On the entry, I noticed that they have some food options to take out, which is a good thing. They have a good collection of parathas, veg and non-vegetarian gravy, and samosas come up sweet. We checked out our usual grocery list, and they also had a fresh collection of vegetables, not much but good good amount of vegetable options. The prices are comparable to the nearby Indian stores. The store people seem very friendly. The parking lot is ample. I like the food options they have. We have checked out Aloo Paratha, Paratha, and Chana masala. All of the food varieties are perfectly done. However, we did not like the sweets. But I will definitely shop here again for groceries as well as the food options. Nice place to shop.
