Went here with friends a couple years ago and it was positive experience—the highlight being the cat running around the greenhouse. I have since moved down the road and was looking forward to becoming a regular and supporting our local businesses…but apparently I am no longer welcomed as I had a baby 11 months ago. There’s a lot of breweries in the area who are family friendly so that’s where our business will need to go for the next 20 years.

For the vibes this is one of the best breweries/distilleries I’ve been to. The beer is great too. I’m excited to go back and try the cocktail flight. The younger employee with brown hair that we interacted with was so incredibly kind and helpful, just another great thing about this place.

We absolutely loved High Hops. Well, we had a baby in 2023 and because they don’t allow children we can’t go back. No compromise? Disallow children after a certain time? I understand wanting a space that is child-free but it’s not like this brewery has a quiet and relaxing ambiance. If High Hops perhaps allowed children until 6pm even, we’d come in often. I see I’m not alone in this thinking, either.

Not sure what to say here really. Probably the only brewery on the planet that doesn’t allow children in (even full fledged teenager). Funny though because the signs in the brewery say children can’t be unattended in the nursery. Not family friendly at all and never had a chance to taste the beer before being run out of the place. I feel the employee didn’t care for my pro USA shirt. Hard pass for anything family related.

Beer is great as always, sadly cocktails are now only poured from cans and not made fresh. The hours are a huge con. If you have a normal M-F 8-5 job, you'll never be able to enjoy a High Hops brew on their great patio after work. It is such a bummer and such a horribly poor choice of hours. Closing at 5pm even on Fridays and Saturdays.

High Hops offers decent, independently made microbrews with an exceptional, eclectic atmosphere to enjoy them in.

The garden center connected to the microbrewery is ingenious and the addition of the distillery is a plus.

We went to High Hops today and it was in the 90’s and our party stayed for one beer and honestly it was just too hot and muggy in the place; and we even tried to take cover in shade outside on their patio.

My suggestion to the owners would be to invest in an air-conditioning unit so on very hot days your customers will be more inclined to visit and stay longer.

We ended up going to another well-known microbrewery in Fort Collins after the one beer at High Hops; and this next microbrewery had climate control inside. Our party ended up getting two beers at this place. High hops could’ve had our business, but it was just too unbearable.

We originally are from two other states were the climate is worse and more muggy.
