This farm store is the CUTEST!!! Not only do they sell the BEST pasture-raised products in the area, but the also sell a variety of gourmet and organic items from coffees to eggs and beautiful candles!!! I LOVE coming here with my older auntie - she says it reminds her of how things were "back in the good-old days."

We have been purchasing our meat and eggs from Hershberger Heritage Farm for over 2 years and are so impressed with the quality, flavor, and variety. During the summer months, we join the CSA by buying a prepaid gift card and we make weekly selections at Blooming Glen Farm. Nathan is great about making recommendations for cuts of beef and pork that work well for grilling, crockpot meals, etc. We purchased our Thanksgiving turkey from Hershberger this year and our guests raved about the flavor.
During the fall/winter months, we get bi-weekly Berger Box deliveries with a variety of chicken, pork, and beef to try...as well as the best eggs you will find! We enjoy the convenience of having the highest quality, LOCAL, pastured and grass-fed proteins delivered to our doorstep.
As a Certified Health Coach, I know that the quality of the meat and eggs we feed our families is vitally important. We are so lucky to have a farm with such high standards in our local community. Nathan and Sheila are not only wonderful farmers, but truly nice people.

Loving my monthly Berger box! Tonight I used Michael Symon's recipe for Brick Chicken to make 2 whole chicken legs. I added some sliced lemons to the roast and subbed some homemade pesto for the salsa Verde. YUM! This is the best tasting chicken I've ever had! So glad to be eating clean!

Always buy as much if your food from local farmers as you can. HHF has the best meat. I had no idea how bad the stuff from the mainstream grocery store was until I tasted Farmer Nate's products. We're never going back.

We have purchased meat from the farm several times and just signed up for the new "Berger Box" plan. We love it! The quality of the meat is unsurpassed and the owners are terrific people. Super nice and very helpful. The meat is organic and comes from animals that are raised by rigorous and ethical standards. One of the owners is a USAF veteran and with a family tradition in farming, they have combined these experiences to create a tremendous resource for the community. We were introduced to Hershbergers by friends of ours (cookbook authors and Paleo aficionados) who swear by the Berger Boxes...they made us believers too! Not only was the meat fresh and delicious, but the owners have been fantastic with helping to pick out just the perfect amount for what we need. The prices are reasonable to what you would find in the store, but the quality is top-notch. The eggs are insanely delicious, and my girls absolutely love visiting the farm. I love being able to buy local and support a hard working family farm. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Having come from an agricultural family business I understand the hard work and commitment it takes to succeed without compromise. This is what this farm is all about. I have been buying meats from the family for a while now. We as a family choose to support a quality farm. This is the best meats we have had in this area. We buy the sausage and chicken weekly. The quality of the beef is consistent and the ground beef is amazing. We will be supporting this family for many years. They raised the bar for organic meats and friendly service. Thank you!
