Had an awesome time, Dean was our tour guide. Super knowledgeable, he let free and pet the animals, take pictures with them, and even hold one of the babies. Took eight college students, and they had a blast. Such a unique experience!

Many are given bad raps but with just an ounce of understanding and familiarity, a door opens up to another universe. This is the most wonderful farm with the kindest caring owners! I have yet to actually visit but I can say they truly love their animals and all alpacas! Several months ago I had a group of alpacas coming down from the pacific northwest. Unbeknownst to me one of my newly purchased alpacas was very sick and shouldn't have gotten on the trailer. I was in contact the entire time with the hauler who was very concerned about my alpaca and wasn't sure she would make it all the way to Texas. Thankfully, his next stop for drop off was Gina Ross at Heather Glen alpacas. She insisted that my sweet girl get off the trailer and go no further until she was fully healed and all better! We had never spoken before that moment but Gina saw my little appy and fell in love determined to bring her back to life. That is exactly what she did. She worked day in and day out for several months to medicate feed and love her till she made a full recovery. She worked with her local vet (who was pretty sure she wouldnt make it) to clear her unbelievably high parasite load. She gave her constant high quality and calorie rich feeds to get weight on this poor amacaited girl so could come the rest of the way home. She was happy to do and give her anything i asked with a smile. She sent constant updates and pictures so I could see progress! She transformed Deli from a broken alpaca that had given up to the happy healthy beautiful girl she once was! I know without this farms care and determination Deli would not be here today. I can't thank them enough for what they did for her purely out of the kindness of their hearts! If you ever think about selling an animal to them or sending off some girls for breeding, not only are their alpacas exceptional quality, but I can tell you with 100 percent certainty that those animals will be loved and taken care of as if they were their own. I bet you will also make a life long friend in the process, I know I did! Thank you again for all you have done! ❤️

These sweet people have beautiful alpacas. They take pride in what they do and are knowledgeable in their trade. Their alpacas are also sweet and have such a soft beautiful fiber. We really loved Patriot, although each is special and wonderful. So glad we got to visit Heather Glen Alpacas! ?
