I am very angry and disappointed in my experience. I came here for the first time I just moved to this area and I don't have a PA license yet but they would not even accept any other proof of my address and required the person with that address on their license to be here whom I also reside with. He is at work and all I wanted to do was get food today because we are struggling and I couldn't do that without having been requested he needs to be present. I have to now make a whole new appointment and wait thanks to this experience today.

What an amazing church. This is by far the biggest pantry I have ever seen. The volunteers work so hard. The folks who run the operation are Incredible. The amount of work and planning is enormous and it's awesome to see people willing to do all this for zero dollars.

I would give them a big zero for showing me lack of compassion. I tried to reach them nobody picked up the phone and had trouble getting on their website to log on. Eligibility indicated just an ID required so I went today because I have a desperate need right and reside in lower bucks pa. When I went the ladies just stated you need an appointment, and we’re not taking new clients right now! That doesn’t say that in the website that a friend of mine showed me on her phone. They showed lack of compassion and no sympathy as they just loudly kept repeating the same thing. Those are the kind of people makes you not want to join their church and they’re not the type of people should be presenting ministries. Your mission failed me 😔

Today,  Friday Sept 8th, 2 weeks ago... was a total debacle...  a Philadelphia resident me... accompanied by a friend, who had an appointment to receive food from the pantry at 12:30 pm.

Upon arrival myself & friend went over parked on an area temporarily simply to ask questions how to receive food, immediate response from staff, about 5 persons, not in a polite manner asked to move the vehicle before any questions could be conveyed. I exit the vehicle to let them know we are not from around here;  can you help us?

Why? were we treated in a hostile manner?  then my friend, moved the vehicle to an open parking spot, alarmed and scared to move out the no-parking zone. The staff were not helpful at all, at a defensive, to the point one particular staffer did not want his image recorded... He immediately said your BANNED then approached my friend, she encouraged him multiple times to call the police... I tried to de-escalate the matter to no success.

The police were called, arrived around 12:15pm to handle this matter. It's a very hot day yes.. all are a bit feisty, yet the UN-professional conduct was not called for... All the staff were there to order & demand, not answer a helpful question... ask me would you like to greeted that way? coming over for the very first time? Is it because I'm a Latino man? and my friend a South American woman now US citizen?

My friend had a valid appointment, before that question could be asked, we are met with hostility UN becoming an organization of the Christian faith... I'm a media influencer ... I love organizations like yours that help me and the general population... Today was a sad example,  to turn away folks... simply to ask questions and participate in the greater good of humanity.

Please educate your staff in humility,  and not react to anyone who are not from your area.

Christians from what I understand are peace loving folk, this situation demonstrates lack of empathy from the elder staff. I'm so disappointed our elders act in such a manner. I might, use this footage as an example to others how people of color me...video was taken, but we are treated based on reactionary responses due to simple matters.

Disclaimer Law enforcement acknowledged she could record also Banning her & me from establishment... looks good when staffer ignorantly said " Your never gonna get food here" humm that looks on an organization that advocates appointed people from receiving FOOD.

Have a pleasant day, hostility is ignorant and disappointing for senior volunteers who should know better... in this case it was a horrible experience through & through.

Some photos of those RUDE & HOSTILE folks who attended Me & friend... be careful they are NOT helpful or nice at all!!!

UPDATE: The US. Government has resolved this issue... fair warning please treat people with respect & compassion. To any organization receiving funding from Government & private sectors. You will never know who will respond and take action like I did & person involved in incident of letter written also video footage taken.

Volunteers who work there so RUDE and NASTY. This place use to be good before, but not anymore. It’s so sad such a people works there, they yell, they tell you “go” without explanation. They doing whatever they want and no body says anything, because most of the people don’t speak English. Even they afraid to say something because they’ll kick them out and because they SAID SO. I got YELLED when I got out my car 2 minutes earlier and 3 of them came and said to LEAVE right away, because they said at 5:30, even I was signed up at 5:00. If so why they have 5 on schedule.
