Briny Breezes was the perfect Montauk getaway! The rooms were spotless, the location was peaceful, and the beach was just a short, easy walk away. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I accidentally left my work computer behind, and they called me right away to let me know and made sure it was safely returned—so grateful for their honesty and quick action! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and worry-free stay.

We had such a great stay at Hartman’s Briney Breezes! The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and they had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway — especially helpful when you’re trying to travel light from Manhattan for a quick weekend trip.||- beach towels & chairs to borrow|- lounge chairs & towels poolside||Convenient location — beautiful beach views and walking distance to town. The hospitality from the staff was lovely and had that local feel — so welcoming, helpful, and overall made the whole experience feel effortless.

We just got home from a wonderful long weekend at Briney Breezes. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Really nice pool and very easy beach access, perfect for our family with a 6 year old. The room was so cozy and the private deck was the best part. We will be back for sure!!!

Great spot for a Montauk get away -quick walk across street for beach - can see and hear waves from deck outside room. Room was clean and neat w plenty of space. Had a bbq on site and sat on deck to watch the waves. Beach was private. Staff was polite.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Montauk, Briney Breeze is your spot!

Location: Conveniently located just steps before town and the beach; easily accessible on foot or by car/rideshare

Rooms: clean, spacious, and well kept. We were a group of four girls and shared a queen studio apartment. We comfortably had so much room for all of our bags and each other. There was a fully stocked kitchen and appliances and multiple mirrors that also made getting ready seamless for all of us! Bathroom was large with bath shower and plenty of storage/counter space. Our room had a lovely patio/balcony with lounge chairs.

Amenities: big pool right on property with lounge chairs and umbrella; easy access to clean pool/beach towels and chairs too; a very short walk across the street for free beach access; lawn games like cornhole, picnic tables and plenty of outdoor seating, and grills!

Overall: Jennie and Robert are such gracious owners and all of the staff on site were incredibly kind and helpful. We highly recommend staying here whether you’re on a girls trip or a family vacation. Prices were definitely affordable, especially compared to some other spots in MTK. Book your trip and enjoy!!

Great place overlooking the beach. Great room for families with all the accommodations. Full kitchen with accessories and updated bathroom Great to have a king size bed with lots of pillows. Very clean. Close to main area and quick drive to lighthouse.

Perfect location, beach across the street. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and most importantly, spotless. Very comfortable bed. My room had a coffee maker, a microwave, and a small fridge. Coffee was provided by the hotel together with paper cups.

Hartman’s is hands down the best place I’ve stayed in Montauk!! It’s clean, cozy, the staff is wonderful.. and we were upgraded to the nicest room in the hotel as a courtesy from the staff. Everyone is extremely professional and friendly. I cannot recommend Hartman’s enough. Thank you for everything!!!
