I grew up with a love of chestnuts... how glad I was to find that they're still available!!!

The order came packaged wonderfully and each chestnut I received was nicely sized and had a smell from my childhood. I roasted some last night and they were SO GOOD... can't wait to use the rest as the holidays near.

My husband is Italian and grew up with a tradition of chestnuts. I didn’t “get it” until I found Harrison’s fresh chestnuts. We had been buying chestnuts at our local Italian market and they were always dry and occasionally moldy. Fresh chestnuts are a completely different experience. Our first order from Harrison’s this year was delayed for a week by the USPS due to hurricane Milton but the chestnuts still tasted fresh! We ordered another five pounds before the season ended so that we can freeze some for the holidays.

I have been wanting to order Chestnuts from last year, and I finally got a chance this year! I ordered large and it arrived perfectly! There wasn't a single bad chestnut, and it was fresh! We roasted them in the oven, and my family loved it! I have another jumbo order to be shipped, I can't wait! 🙂

I bought 5 pounds of extra large chestnuts a few weeks ago, and I am purchasing more just now. I have lived in the Mediterranean, and I am familiar with good quality Italian ones too. These are some of the best I have tried. Very tasty and so easy to peel. I peeled one without even roasting, and I can even eat it raw like that, excellent quality. Thank you!

Stay away from this farm!

We recently bought 15 pounds of chestnuts from them, and they were riddled with mold. They clearly hadn't been stored properly. We’ve purchased from this farm before, but this time it was unacceptable. Customer support was unhelpful, claiming the mold was "normal" without offering any solutions. Washing doesn't help as most chestnuts are moldy and half are discolored inside.

If you want fresh, healthy chestnuts, avoid buying from this farm. Terrible experience.

ordered a 15 pound bag of medium chestnuts. as soon as we opened the bag my wife immediately smelled mold. we had to discard about half of the bag. we had a funeral in the family and could contact them only later. the business offered no rectification whatsoever. so its not only the chestnuts that were defective, it was also the customer (non)care. not buying from them again

Great farm to order your chestnuts from. This my second year and everything comes well packaged and fresh. Customer service (Stacy) is excellent, and they are very helpful if you have a request.

Oh my..I bought 5 pounds of large ones.
I roasted some for my breakfast and froze the rest in packages for later.
SCRUMPTIOUS..it is cool day and raining so warmed me up nicely.
It is not Autumn without roasted chestnuts!
