I couldn't be more than disappointed with the owner of this business. It was such a difficult day for me. This person came to vote for a delivery of land on my property that I never ordered without asking anyone's permission. He broke into my property. He destroyed all the septic tanks. from my house he disrespected my wife when she said it wasn't our delivery. After that I spoke to this person and he was so despotic that I don't know he wanted to take charge of the damage that people like this did, they don't deserve to be doing. this type of work destroyed everything he broke everything and now he says it's not his fault completely disappointed in this company

11/22 UPDATE: They are ready for Christmas! Lots of lovely things.

The best farm market around. Lovely produce, farm eggs, and grass fed milk and meat. The pumpkins are in and there's a huge selection. All different shapes, sizes, and colors and some really fun gourds.

This farm grows its own unique and hard to find heirloom produce and also brings in local products. They also do a farm share program. the new gift shop is packed with very unique and thoughtful gifts and ideas. Worth the trip up in or out of season. The garden center is also full of local plants and a really great selection of material. Outdoor living items such as fountains bird baths and planters. The owner is so accessible always going the extra mile.

If you like real organic food and some handmade crafts, besides a variety of flowers, this is the place to go. With a friendly staff always ready to give you a hand with questions and suggestion Halas farm is more than a store or flower shop, a real farm with animals and an amazing vibe.
I was able to find lots of natural products as well and the price is fair.

After visiting this place by chance to go on a nearby hiking course, it wasn't difficult to decide to visit a second time. I came here again even though it took 3 hours roundtrip to get there by car. Of course, it became an excuse to go hiking on the way here. To be honest, the price is a little more expensive than the general markets around. But I think it's okay because what’s more important is the freshness of vegetables, fruits, and eggs.

Of course, a good wholefood market nearby or other general farmer’s markets are also good, but my opinion changed when I tasted apples, especially among the fruits of the late fall season. Apples that have been frozen for a long time may generally look good on the side, but take one bite and you will immediately notice the difference. They say the fruits here are delicious. I didn't expect much from the strawberries since they aren't in season, but they were okay, and the eggs were fresh.

It's a shame that I can't come often due to the distance, but it's a place I want to visit often on purpose as an excuse to go hiking.

This is just such a beautiful farm! They have all kinds of fresh produce, beautiful plants that are high-quality, lovely accents for your garden, and yard, and a great gift shop. I've noticed that they are doing even more community events. If you talk to any of the staff there, they are also knowledgeable about helping with garden/planting questions, which I always appreciate! The Halas family is so nice and everyone that works there is kind. Halas is genuinely a staple in the Danbury area. Also, best dogs ever!

A lovely stop before or after hiking at bear mountain trails, this farm stand has a wide variety of sweets, food, treats and gifts. There are chickens outside and a couple of delightful dogs to keep you entertained while you shop. Seasonal items, like wreaths and Christmas trees are available and there’s always the year round homemade items like soap and candles. It’s a nice place, always worth a visit!
