Forced to come here as it's part of my job. I like my job but unfortunately this is part of it. For some time now, they can't keep up with the feed grade limestone. Plant is down for repairs to often. And they sell more than they can produce. Sat here yesterday for 7.5 hours. Today will likely be 4. I've sat here for 9 before in the past. The carbis rack has been missing a set of stairs for a month and a half and the vaccuum never works due to the lackluster maintenance crew. Unfortunately this is the only place within a few states to get this material and they must know that since there is never any improvement.

If your need is chemical quicklime or steel quicklime, this facility is not a facility that you want to obtain it from. Every afternoon for the past 5 days, there have 10-15 trucks waiting to load and it’s been taking at least 45 minutes to an hour to load each truck. They have two loading bays to service the loading of the chemical and steel quicklime. Chemical quicklime from bay 4 and steel quicklime from bay 3. There is always a wait for product to be made. Myself, I have waited a total of 12 unpaid hours and counting this week just to get into a loading bay. Imagine the total lost time for all equipment that sits and waits to be loaded at this location. Do you want to add your equipment downtime to that total? You will if you choose to obtain quicklime from this facility.
