This is a great place to find good vegetables and fruits, but the prices have gone way up the last few years. On Sat when the market works there is lots of food vendors who bring very yummy baked goods, pizza, coffee and more, but again. Ask how much things are before ordering 🙂 you can thank me later. There is parking right next to the place or you can park across the treat at TJ’s.

I love this market but a vendor broke off the chip of my credit card in there credit card reading machine and it caused me so many problems for the rest of my trip. And I had to order a replacement card when I got home back to Georgia. Also not enough bathrooms there were only two porta potties and they were disgusting there was no light It's horrible experience. The live music was magnificent and the fact that it's on a lake, a large grassy park, and a playground is just so family-friendly and awesome! Got some delicious gourmet organic nuts and some wonderful smoked salmon jerky, and delicious California oranges.

Great place to hang out Saturday mornings. Lots of different types of vendors: clothing, jewelry, art pieces. It's best to get here early as the lines get long after 11am. So many food vendors to choose from. Limited parking under the bridge.

One of the biggest near East Bay markets.
Several dozen vendors, food court, live music.

Additionally there's Lakeshore Ave and Grand Ave with their stores. Across the highway is the Lakeshore library and a childrens playground, then the entrance to Lake Merritt and all it's activities including the historic Children's Fairyland. There's often music and additional vendors in that area also.

Very lively location for a Saturday excursion. Parking is a challenge, be prepared to walk half a mile to find your parked car.

Farmers market was very lively. There is a mask requirement while in the area. So we bought our crepes and walked to the perimeter of the market to eat while standing. There isn't any place to sit and it right now.
The produce stalls sometimes have lines. There hummus, honey, roast chicken, nuts, dim sum, tamales, gluten free baked goods, flowers, hot sauce, coffee, apple pie, muffins, fresh almond milk, A2 milk and some clothing.

Best farmers market I've ever been to, so many more vegan vendors than other markets! Try out kubé ice cream if you see them, it was SO good.

My favorite farmers market in the Bay Area! Great spot for lunch too. Check out the bolanis!
