Godfrey's is an A1 York County institution and a tradition! Butcher shop with fine quality products presented in a clean and business like fashion. Used to shop at Farmer's markets, but moving to countryside has made quick stops at the market convenient.

This is really your hometown local butcher experience. All of the staff is fun to talk to and they want the best for you. The box lots they feature are well worth their money and the specials they have throughout the year are awesome. I really enjoy their summer grilling bundle. If you want someplace with a great variety, fair prices that's just "good people", this is the place!

Do not get a cow processed here. First, you're treated like a bother for bringing in your order, and then you receive nothing but attitude. Worst of all, they disregard your instructions and process the meat however they want, cutting and packaging it to their own preferences. So you get kind of get what your ordered after spending hundreds. What a joke.

To make matters worse, they add hidden charges that aren’t disclosed upfront, leading to unexpected processing fees for subpar service.
