Lots of animals to meet, completely free (concession stand, animal feed, and hay rides available), and very nice staff...I really enjoyed our trip here with two small kids. We got a warm welcome from Art and continued to see an assortment of animals. The area to hold animals with a staff member present was a hit. The terrain can bit a little hilly so you may want to wear shoes. Fun visit, will definitely do again.

Really reallllllyyyy nice people. Definitely would come back. You can buy bags of feed to give to chicken, goats, sheep, and llamas. They have a little critter area where a person will take out a bunny to pet along with a few other small animals. There are lots of friendly dogs running around to pet. Large pumpkins are 5$ and small were 1$. You can take a hay ride or train ride (Although the train was not working today). You can also pay for your kid to ride a pony led by a staff member (Ponies actually looked good, not like the ones at fairs)... It looks like in summer there is a sunflower field too.

We had a field trip there today with my son's K-4 class, as well as our school's K-5 class. Definitely one of the best field trips we've had! So many animals to see, pet, hold and learn about! They rode the ponies, and went on a tractor ride, as well! Such an adorable and memorable experience. 💖 Our guide was Miss Emma, and she taught us and showed us quite a bit! There was free time, too, and they got to slide down the huge tube slide and go through the fort area. We will absolutely be back to visit!

We definitely had a great time on our field trip. The staff did a wonderful job grouping all of the kids so we could all experience every part of the farm. Plus we all got to pick a pumpkin at the end.

Fun long "hayride"! Pumpkins are in the natural pumpkin patch. Was fun to climb through to find good sized pumpkins!

Fun farm for a field trip. Wide variety of animals (including pony rides) and places to explore. Friendly staff, a fun day... going home with a pumpkin.

We returned after four years to Glacier Rock Farms yesterday, 10/19/2024, and were impressed to see all the improvements on an experience that had been good. Every hour, on the hour, the wagon ride takes you over its bouncy track and stops at the crazy pumpkin patch, where even dad can have difficulty hefting the pumpkins the kids choose. The pumpkin would cost you $10 at Whole Foods and is free as part of your experience.
Every half-hour the train ride takes you through the forest and over the field on its clickety-clack track. There were more four-legged animals than ever, and the $1 bag of feed was generous
and we had to be generous as we fed the animals.
GRF is definitely worth the drive: pony rides, train rides, wagon rides, petting animals, a fort to run around in and a giant pumpkin (or small) to take home: hours of fun and just ten bucks a head.
We will be back!

From an employee’s standpoint: this place is so much fun! The animals are awesome and there’s so much versatility (horses, cows, llamas, sheep, goats, emus, etc etc). Everyone who works there is so friendly, nice, and helpful. They truly make you feel like a family. The pay isn’t what I work there for: it’s the experience & atmosphere.

For potential school tours: totally a fun experience. So many fun facts and activities we do on the farm - from feeding/petting/catching animals, to milking a cow, to a pony & hay ride. The price is good and the kids always leave with nothing but smiles. (*in October, everyone in the school tour gets to take home a little pumpkin)

For weekend visitors: the owners/operators plan all these cool little festivals, events, and activities for families. The store there sells some local honey, food, knick-knacks, and clothing. Definitely worth checking out their Facebook page.
