Picking up from this place was easy enough (#4B 4411), but when they put 3 sets of BOLs, scheduled to be delivered to a cross dock in CENTRAL Pittsburgh, I expect ALL 3 to go there. ( I even CONFIRMED with the shipping clerk that ALL THREE ORDERS delivered to this location before departure) The cross dock only accepted 2 orders. After spending ALL day, waiting for the brain trust to make a decision, they decide I would deliver 3rd order to this same place. But hold on, this cross dock AGAIN refuses this delivery.. 2 days WASTED . so, after all that, a decision was made, to just deliver to the Aldi's, 40 miles away.... All because Giorgio Foods was just dumping that order off on someone, and was trying to get somebody to deliver it for FREE.
Logistics goes often unrecognized, until it GOES WRONG.
And Giorgio's certainly dropped the ball on this one.

Pickups: From NB hwy 222 exit Park Rd. Use left lane. Go straight thru green light. About a mile on the left is Giorgio. Turn before the building at WEST DOCKS. Pull thru gate. Docks on right. Shipping office near dock 1 as you enter dock area. Straight ahead is a sweep out dock with a broom, shovel and red rolling trash cart.

The people there are busy, but kind/thoughtful. They ship a lot of organic and other one-touch mushrooms every day of the week. I have sent trucks to each of their facilities in PA and the folks on the ground care about the product, the customer’s schedule, and sticking to the schedules in place. Appreciated.

I bought a case of mushrooms (4oz cans) from Sam's Club. Five of the cans contained mostly fluid and very little product. This not what Sam's or Walmart expects from its vendors. I will inform the folks in Bentonville Arkansas with full details.

Do Not Like Pull Tab open cans!! Will not be buying these again!! I was purchasing 2-4 cases a month from Sam's Club. No More!!!

My delivery window is 7 am get here at 645 say they don’t unload till 9 no one speaks English on the north side and knowone knows what’s going on will not come back

Their mushrooms are always very good. I buy them at Aldi’s in Aliquippa, Pa. for $ 1.79 for white mushrooms.

It’s my third time picking up here and is getting worst every time, today I’m being here at the dock waiting for almost seven hours and still waiting I asked to a employee at shipping receiving office for an update but of course nobody knows what’s going on
