The food was just delicious, easy, casual, and full of flavor. Mind you it’s the first time I went. But yeah, I hear you can also shop for groceries here too.

Great selection, clean store, roomy aisles. The prices are high, and there are some bargains to be found, but you have to expect to pay a bit more for such good service. It’s also nice to see a store employ so many people when most companies are cutting staff. A well-staffed store with friendly people makes you want to return again and again.

I am a long standing customer and fan of Gelson's, however, today, my experience at the deli counter left me shocked and upset. I was accused by the man working at the deli counter of being a liar when I asked for some dipping sauce to accompany the shrimp skewers that I often purchase. The deli counter male employee told me that I could not have a small container of dipping sauce even when I told him that I had been given a small container of dipping sauce the previous time I had purchased the shrimp skewers. He then proceeded to intimate that I was lying. I must say that not only was I deeply offended by his insinuation but by his dismissive attitude and utter lack of professional customer service. Much as I am a long standing customer and fan of Gelson's, I now seriously doubt that I will ever return to your store.

The deli lady was extremely rude like we were putting her out by asking her.If we could get some Deli stuff.She was more worried about her chickens being put out. Then we get out to the check out there's one checker 7 people in line.She calls for another checker and no one ever showed up. And she was rude as well. And this is a high-end store.If we wanted bad service we couldn't went to albertsons

I have been going to Gelsons since they opened the store in Pacific Palisades. I alos have been going to Gelsons in Rancho Mirage since it opened as we had a second home there. I am now full time in Rancho Mirage since 2002. Unfortunately the last several visits, I have encounted long lines to use the deli section and on my last visit only two checkout lanes were opened with lots of people in line. Eventually they opened two more. Considering the cost at Gelson's I have always expected better service.

What a horrible person at the deli counter. Sorry we inconvenienced you to try and purchase from your store. We certainly could have spent much less and got better service at Ralphs.

If you love Gelson's, then you are in store for a real treat! This Gelson's is HUGE, has an amazing selection of whatever you are looking for, and the staff provides top notch service. There is a notable selection of lovely olive oil and balsamic vinegar available for tasting at this location.

Shout out to Jaylyn who made me a delicious sandwich with smoked turkey and provolone. John at checkout was the kindest, and when I mentioned his kindness, he said "everyone who enters this store deserves to be treated with kindness." Morona at the bakery was helpful, upbeat and provided pastry recommendations. Finally, Adrian at the Peet's coffee inside Gelson's was kind, professional and made a delicious latte with oat milk.

There is plenty of parking at this location, the store is huge and well stocked, and there are many helpful people willing to help you - I highly recommend this store! If you are interested in sharing any of my photos, please let me know. Thanks!
