I’m happy to experience this place. I’m a huge fan of Guy Fieri! This actually was pretty good but i probably won’t go back. I liked the atmosphere and all the cool memorabilia. The service was okay, i felt rushed and as of the water had an attitude waiting on my family to decide on what we wanted to eat. The food was expensive for something that tasted average. I don’t think anything was worth the amount asked.

After eating here, I understand why Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives highlighted Gastro Grind Burgers. The Smokey (which was one of the burgers featured on the show) is one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly with great add-ons that fit the burger "to a T." The fries and Tater Tots are cooked just before the burger is served, and they are fabulous. The waitstaff members were all very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient (especially Mike G). BTW, they have some great beers on tap and a good selection of mixed drinks. Overall, this is a fantastic burger place that really lives up to the hype.

Holy mushroom moly! The King Mushroom burger at @gastrogrindburgers is out of this world. With wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, goat cheese, and truffle aioli on a Brioche Bun, this burger takes the cake. Approved by Guy Fieri himself, this restaurant is well deserving of its feature on Diners, Drive-ins & dives. Not only was the food a knock out, my server was awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. The inside diner vibes were right on, too. I'm already thinking about going back to try their burger topped with lobster meat!

The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is because for some reason my server put no pickle on my order and a dill pickle spear would have been the perfect companion to my burger. I love pickles

Holy moly!! Our first time here and loved it. I got the classic burger and it was excellent. Husband ordered chicken with sweet potatoes and he gobbled them up! Onions rings were lightly battered and super crispy outside. If you are in the mood for burgers, definitely try them out!

I had been to Gastro Grind many years ago, but after visiting again, it has now become our favorite burger spot in Palm Desert! The updates they’ve made to the restaurant and menu make a great atmosphere and experience.

We had a small mishap with service in the beginning, but our server, “V“ recovered quickly and her and her colleague left lasting impressions on us. Being in the industry, we appreciated their personalities and diligence that night while juggling large parties at the same time.

The Southwest Wings were the absolute best wings we’ve ever had. Burgers were delicious. Make sure you get the truffle fries!

We will be back. Thank you “V!”

We had the Asada Burger and the Bistro Burger. Both were served fresh and hot. They were delicious! I highly recommend adding a few drops of their house made pepper oil to the Asada Burger. The service was appropriately attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for a quick bite after walking around the Living Desert Zoo. A small burger spot with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating.

Their menu had a lot of different unique burgers and a good amount of selections to choose from. I definitely recommend the duck wings. They were sweet and tangy and the walnuts gave a nice savory crunch to balance the flavor.

We also got the Surf and Turf burger. It was extremely decadent, which was a bit much but it was still good. The size of burgers were also good to share with an appetizer!

Our local burger joint made the Triple D list, appropriately so. But if I could, I wouldn’t give it a full 5 star rating.

Burgers are great, creative and most importantly, when you order a med rare or rare temp, it comes out that way. But my complaint is the assortment of burgers kinda annoys me. They love to add frisée to a few of the burgers and it just changes the whole flavor profile, not in a good way. When ordering online, you can’t add cheese or change it out which is annoying. But overall they do a great job and it deserves a try.

To management, open the bar. It’s wasted space and sometimes people just want to post at the bar, drink a beer, and smash a burger. Easy fix on their part.
