Finally able to physically go into the store. Have been ordering online for over 30 years. The girl helping us couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. You won’t find better linguica or chorizo!

OTR parking. First come is first served. Pretty fast unload time of 40 minutes for a 53' trailer.
Receiving hours are 7am to 1200am and then 1230pm to 3pm.
Nice little shop on site with their products plus sandwiches, drinks etc at very reasonable prices.

I've noticed a difference in quality the past few years. The linguica and chourico are loaded with gristle and bone fragments. The last one I cut up had a bone fragment the size of a cranberry and numerous smaller pieces. I love the flavor, but now worry about breaking a tooth.

Gaspar's has been a tradition in our household growing up in California (as my Portuguese father grew up in New Bedford, MASS). Years later we were no longer able to access it near us in the San Francisco Bay Area. When I moved to Orlando, FL, our grocery store had it and we would freeze it, pack it in coolies, and fly it back with us for my Dad. Now that I moved to Canada, he's been without for so long. I've called them twice now (once as a suprise during Covid when my parent's were trapped in their home during the lockdown and again yesterday as a surprise birthday/Christmas gift for him) and have Gaspar's linguica, chourico, and even locally-made Portuguese sweet bread rolls being packed up today to ship to him across the country. The people I've dealt with have been so warm, friendly, helpful, and personable. The first shipment (during Covid) my parent's received, they were so impressed with how wonderfully everything was packed to keep cold and fresh....it was an amazing surprise for them. I can't wait for them to receive the next shipment later this week....just in time for him to make traditional Portuguese Kale Soup! Yes, the shipping is rather costly, but you have to understand that they take so much care to ensure that it's kept at a proper temperature for the long travel and stay safe for consumption. The joy that it brings my parents (with the taste and bit of nostalgia) makes it so worth it! I highly recommend Gaspar's products and shipping these surprises to those in your life who would appreciate a proper traditional taste of New England Portuguese sausages.

I've eaten linguica all my life. I buy it at a local market in CT. The quality has gone down. Today cooked one up. Put it in buns. It was loadeded with grizzle and fat. I will not be buying any more for awhile. I spit two mouthfuls out with tough grizzle

Their Linguica has been my favorite since I was young and growing up in Massachusetts. Mouthwatering! Glad I am able to order Gaspar's to West Virginia now that I live there.
