First time trying Galvan’s and it won’t be the last! The roommate and I were both craving pot roast so I headed over to Galvan’s and got an absolutely beautiful piece of chuck roast and prepped it for the slow cooker. It turned out wonderful; tender and flavorful.

I was greeted immediately upon getting to the meat case and was quickly assisted by a pleasant employee.

The Idler Spring on Pilothouse's Turntackler Buckler broke sending hot spuge all over poor little Dinky Casbeen's face, he's okay, but he looked like a Kardashian after a Saturday night date. After making sure he was okay I told him lunch was on me, where ever you want to go, I'll pay. He thought long and hard and belted out....Galvan's Market Deli! Get me a roast beef sandwich...they're the best ever! 5 stars he says! ☆☆☆☆☆

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The selection of meats, seafood, sauces, rubs, pasta, bread, and other items is excellent.

Don't get frustrated if you can't get them on the phone. Just go in and talk to them instead.

Hidden gem! Great customer service and quality products. The prime rib and the wagyu beef were delicious!

I look forward to trying their seafood and the deli sandwiches.

I'll tell anyone who will listen: Galvan's has *the best* cuts of meat and deli sandwiches in the East Bay. Don't believe me? My fiancee and I packed Galvan's sandwiches to eat moments after getting engaged. Galvan's is forever part of our love story and I would refuse to have it any other way ❤️

The BEST! I had a party to plan and dropped by for some inspiration. After asking me a few very good questions, Jason set me up with great recommendations, and made sure I had everything I needed.

The crew were all friendly and professional, and the shop is very clean and organized and there’s been a lot of work put into the place recently, which is great to see in a family business that’s been there for generations.

Jason is an absolute grill master, has great instructions, and obviously cares about the quality of your experience, as well as the quality of his meats and cheeses.

Bought some guaciale from here, which was boiled NOT Dry aged with seasonings on the inner portion. Payed way too much for it but I made an ok Pasta ala Zozzona. Not coming here again. Drive to Castro Valley or San Francisco for a better Italian Deli. Between their joke sanitation and the smells of expiring seafood, I will gladly take my chances somewhere else.

Always a great place. The meat is worth it! We got rib eyes and bacon wrapped scallops for my dad and I's new years eve dinner. Can't wait to feast! They were busy but always helpful and nice! Very clean.
