I have been using this soil for decades - dozens of bags per year (at the very least). Sure, some bags may open to be a little damp or have a stray mushroom or 2, but what I have encountered lately (from bags stored *inside* the shop) is severe - the entire bag was ridden with mushrooms.

As I used, of course I thought "hmm - more" but never in a million years thought there would be anything so pernicious and so destructive as the multiple types of shrooms in that bag. I have had to throw away the smaller plants in which it was used.

But I have 7/8 year old 5' tall citrus plants in which the smaller of the mushrooms have taken over such that they cannot be removed - intertwined with the roots quite deep at the base of the trunk - numerous times I have tried.

So I wrote the company to ask for help/ideas. Instead I received an elementary review of what a mushroom is (seriously) and how they have no control over this and it is not anything they have any responsibility for whatsoever. NO ideas what to do, nothing.

So much for "Foxfarm Willy" and their tenets of doing business (what kind of business does not disclose ownership?)

Very disappointing and sad.

Best soil I’ve ever used. Everything I grow with this is amazing and healthy. Whether it’s ocean forest or happy frog or the liquid fertilizers, it works amazing such high-quality products I can’t say enough good things about it. Please never stop making this stuff. I love it.

Place is fast at loading but was here 5 min past 3 and was turned away even after I called 2 hrs prior if it would be ok for me to still show up. Now i will miss family activities. We as drivers always have the loosing end bc I was here a few weeks back and showed up at 1 and didnt leave till 4pm

I own Hidden Falls Nursery and Garden Center in Killeen TX. It's a small business and we've been using Foxfarm since we learned about it. We love and can't keep enough of their products on our shelves.

Running late, dispatch called ahead 3 hours in advance and I showed up 10 minutes late, due to construction, and they wouldn't receive me, till the next morning.
