This place looks like it belongs in the far out countryside, but it's actually just off the Main Street in Hummelstown. It may not be easy to locate unless you know to look for a shack with red roof and a big black hog silhouette logo, behind some regular looking houses and parking lot. There are only 2-3 parking spots right by the shack, but I believe you can park in the lot behind the shack as well.

Inside is an ordering counter with chalkboard menu in front of it, along with 2 medium sized tables and a short stretch of overhang along the wall. On a good weather day, there's a picnic table outside. Bottom line, not too many places to sit on a busy day.

I ordered from the menu from their website which has "The Smokestack" for $12 (not listed on the chalkboard menu). I had thought it was a platter, but it's only a sandwich, so to me it's a bit pricey, granted they did give me a lot of proteins. Per the menu description for The Smokestak: smoked brisket and pulled pork smothered with Blacksmith BBQ sauce, with sharp cheddar, bacon, and pickled pepper and onions. Unfortunately, the pepper and onions were missing. That said, the meat was cooked really nice - moist, tender, and tasty. The bacon, on the other hand, was tough and cold.

The staff/manager was friendly, and they take credit cards. The restroom was clean. Overall, a great place for BBQ.

Tiny, but mighty! The food here was great. There wasn't much indoor seating, but plenty of picnic tables outside. All the meat is made fresh on site, even the bacon!

We used Forrest's feed Co. For my 50th birthday celebration.
Many people in my wife's family over the years, even my SIL for their wedding have used them as well. They dropped all the food off and had it set up on time. Everything they provided was plentiful, moist and tasty. Everyone told me how wonderful it was. I remember eating the leftovers a few days later, when taking the lid off and smelling the sweet smoke. I'm still using all the extra homemade sauces. I recommend and will be using them in the future.

When I walked into this place, I got some cozy, old shack vibes. The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches are really great and smoky, but they were a bit stingy with the pickles and coleslaw. Overall, very good food.

Solid BBQ place. I felt there could be some
More flavor in the meat. I enjoyed the macaroni and cheese spin with bacon and tomatoes. Their baked beans and potatoes salad where 5 stars. The young men working there were friendly. The outside eating was perfect for a summer day!

Location seemed like we were pulling into a private residence so we almost missed the turn. Food was fantastic. We tried brisket, mac and cheese, baked beans, and slaw. Baked beans were the best we’ve ever had and brisket was exceptional!

I love it. Fries are to die for and BBQ enough for several sammies. It’s a hidden gem. Now, having said that, don’t go making it all busy. 😉
