You cannot go wrong with the food, beer, or view at the forbidden peak brewery! I went here for dinner and got a flight with amazing beers, a wonderful poke bowl and steak, and then to top it all off they have a patio that over looks Auke Bay that is beautiful. I highly recommended going here if you are in the area!

Today the customer service by the new gal sucks. I like this place and considers myself a regular, having visited the brewery multiple times and spread the word around about Forbidden Peak. However, today I ordered Flight, IPA beer and non-alcoholic Root Bear. The IPA was so good, but the Non-alcoholic Root Bear tasted like it was watered down and my friend didn’t like it after a sip. I informed the gal whom I ordered from, and asked if she could change it to a lemonade. She said yes and poured lemon soda, but then she wanted to charge me for it. Then she said I have to pay for the replacement drink. I said, you agreed earlier because my friend and I tasted it and it had weird taste so we’re supposed to get a replacement drink without paying for a replacement drink. She said no. Then I saw her throw both drinks in the sink. Horrible customer service. Truly HORRIBLE.

A very nice brewery. Very clean. Just away from all the cruise ships traffic. Lots of merchandise. I had a flight, as did my wife, and we liked them all.

Tourists beware! This place has awesome beer cans with stickers on them. Saw them on Instagram and made a special trip while on a cruise out to this brewery to support their efforts. Couldn't regret the wasted time more!

We went straight to the cans in the brewery, picked out the ones that had stickers on them, showed our (very out of state) IDs, my wife ordered a drink, and headed out to the patio. We were about to sit down at a table, three cans in hand, and an employee comes out and tells us she wants to wipe the table off before we sit at it, and proceeds to do so. Thought that was nice, but then she says "oh by the way those cans are for off site consumption only"... What the heck!? There was no signage, we were clearly from out of town, there should have been a warning at purchase time at a minimum. Told the lady that would have been nice to know before we ordered it and that we were on a cruise so we couldn't take the cans with us and she just shrugged her shoulders. Asked where we could drink them and she suggested going to a beach and drinking out in public. Asked her if it was legal there and she just shrugged her shoulders, said don't get caught, and walked away. Absolutely horrible experience and somewhere I couldn't recommend to tourists less.

A bit pricey but very good. 14oz Ribeye, side salad 10/10. IPA also pleasant. Warm fires outside.

We went in to get the cool beer cans with stickers on them. There was no signage we saw that told us we couldn't drink the cans on-sight and we weren't warned at the counter either even though we were just getting one each and had out of state licenses that made it obvious we weren't local. When we went out to drink them on the patio we got followed by an employee and shoo-d off saying that we weren't allowed to drink them there even though we were on a cruise and don't really have anywhere else to legally drink them and can't bring them onto the ship.

Warning people about that rule or removing the rule altogether would have made it a much better experience but it felt that we were intentionally unwelcome as tourists.
