I am not the first on here to complain about this person and I’m surprised nothing has been done. Big blonde lady at self checkout is extremely rude, has poor customer service and makes it impossible to have a good experience there.

Slow as molasses, need to bring your own bags. There’s always huge lines and staff doesn’t want to open more checkout lanes. Uh oh, better not take more than 25 items into self checkout!!1!

I bought a candy bar from here a couple days ago, and I realized today that it's past its expiration date - by more than a month. It tasted fine but it's still concerning.... I like this store overall, they have good deals. Just inspect your food closely since they dont seem to rotate their stock for certain items.

Tonight the night that I wanted to go in and out was not the day. I went in at 1030pm there's usually 1 register open and for the most part it goes fast but not tonight a customer in front of me got some can beverages that were on sale buy 2 get 2 free she took a picture of the price when they take a closer look at the price it said expired on 4/16/24 she made a big deal out of it manager had to be called meantime line is building up by the time it was over 11 customers were in line. I guess my question is whose in the right and wrong the customer making a deal out of it after being told the sale had expired or food Maxx at fault for not taking the sale price down. I was in there for 1 hr 40 min waiting for this to be sorted out. Let me know whose whose right and wrong. What would you do after they told you the sale had expired..

It's good for quick grocery trips, and is the biggest grocery store in town. The selection varies. My biggest complaints are that the workers are rude when you ask for help, and I'm constantly finding expired food.

Pretty good store. Don't go that often. Why are eggs limited again? 2 doz per family? Even Costco has no egg limits.

Now it reminds me of Costco or other wholesalers, it's got good prices. There's still a bakery inside and the breads/cakes or whatever you buy from there seems to be quite delicious.
This has been the one store that carries the yogurt and the juice flavors i like, so I am more than happy to shop there. I've never been here and found things dirty. But do try to avoid going right after work, that's always super busy

This store has great sale prices on many items. We buy mostly fruit and produce on sale at much lower prices than Safeway and Nob Hill. Many of their meats are also lower priced and of good quality.
