Comfortable and calm environment, genuine care about my pets, as if they were the pets of the Doctor and staff there. It's also very surprisingly cost effective. Since my dog is 14y/o I'm glad to have them nearby for pet healthcare.

Kind, affordable, and they let my cats stay together as they are accustomed to being so. They offer accommodations for both dogs and cats, including cats who need their distance from barking. While mine were fine being in the vicinity of the dogs, it was good to know the options. Also, they have two adorable (sassy) office cats of their own. The people who cared for my cats had nice things to say about them, which was good since they are good (but still feline) cats. I appreciated their care for my animals!

Saved my baby girls life! We owe them everything for treating our dog so good n making sure she didn't pass away. She is our family n we don't know what we would of done if would would of lost her! My best friend passed away yesterday his name was Jett. This place is terrible in my opinion. After being confused by Google's phone hours, opens at 8 am and this veterinarians phone hours of operation 7 am & up all night with my dog who unfortunately bled out and passed away. As an educated professional, I can sense when someone wants to prejudge me as if I'd been up tweaking all night and came in with a dead dog. I was going to make these people my new veterinarian since my old vet went out of business in Walsenburg ( I had a future appointment coming up with these people for Jets shots next week) I drove forty-five minutes made it in 22 minutes only to be visually insulted, told over the phone on Bluetooth in my car, they couldn't tell me certain things about him due to possible legal liabilities 🤷 this is the most unempathetic and terrible veterinarian that I have ever dealt with... I have raised several dogs and dealt with several veterinarians, one of them who is my mother's sister who is a registered vet tech in Denver... the staff and doctors have absolutely no clue and I was very flabbergasted at the way I was treated or there for lack of not treated how I should have been. At least offer to let a dog be froze at your facility for 48 hours to say the least... and that's what I did before my friend ended up paying my check after I gave him my card before I exploded at the staff. I would not ever recommend these people... I would drive 45 mi the other way to avoid this veterinarian at all cost. Very rude unempathetic and pre judgmental people... Thank you for the negative parvo test... I was as calm and collective as could be for being up all night with my dog dying in front of me and these people distanced themselves from me like I was going to be there next active shooter. You and your veterinarian clinic can go to hell and you need an overhaul on your doctors and staff. This is coming from a master's degree level educated teacher.... And by the way the next time someone asks you how much a autopsy is you don't tell them it's expensive that's not what I asked you I asked you the cost. Trust me I have the money to pay for one. Every single member of this facility in my opinion is in the wrong profession. Like they say with us teachers if you can't do it from your heart then get out of the profession. That's my recommendation to everyone at fishers peak veterinarian clinic. The next time somebody walks in with bloodied pants their hair buzzed and looks like they've been up all night and could possibly be a thug but isn't, don't prejudge. Your actions as well as all actions usually speak louder than words.

I recently purchased property in Raton and needed services. I went to the vet clinic here in Raton and wasn’t impressed. Thankfully I found Fischer’s Peak Vet Clinic. I had an emergency and they were able to see my cat the next day. I have seen both doctors now and found the care to be above and beyond. For me, it’s worth the 30 minute drive north. I have been to a lot of vets in the past 17 years and Fischer’s Peak is one of the best.

We are camping at Trinidad Lake and our Chloe ate some meds, we called at 7:15 am and were told to come right in. They were able to treat her immediately. Wonderful vet and staff! We would definitely use them if we lived here. Trinidad is lucky to have such great services. Thank you Fisher’s Peak Clinic!!
