I recently stopped by Firestone Walker Brewing Company in Paso Robles, and it was a highlight of my trip—especially because it’s so convenient to get to, right off the 101 freeway exit! As soon as I walked in, I loved the welcoming ambiance and friendly staff, who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of craft beer.

The location couldn’t be better. Paso Robles is already known for its wine country charm, and having this incredible brewery just off the highway makes it an easy and worthwhile detour. Once inside, the food and beer selection really stand out. The menu features mouthwatering gourmet burgers, flavorful appetizers, and plenty of dishes that pair perfectly with the brews. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into each menu item so you can enjoy the best of both worlds—great food and fantastic craft beer.

And speaking of the beer, Firestone Walker’s offerings are top-tier. From the refreshingly smooth 805 to their bolder IPAs and seasonal specialties, there’s a pour for every palate. The staff is more than happy to help you find a new favorite, so don’t be afraid to ask for recommendations!

Overall, if you’re driving along Highway 101 near Paso Robles, do yourself a favor and pop in at Firestone Walker Brewing Company. The location is perfect, the food is delicious, and the beer is downright exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing food everytime we go. I haven't had a bad dish here. Beer is great . Can be pricey but we are in wine country so to be expected. But worth the price. Fun relaxed environment. Plenty of parking, no reservations needed.

Food is delicious! Many choices of beer and service was friendly and fast. The store of merchandise is also very nice and they have tons of things to choose from.

Had an amazing time at Firestone Walker Brewing in Paso Robles! Stayed in town to enjoy and visit the brewery, as we headed up north. The beer and wine didn't disappoint and the service was friendly and accommodating.

For dinner, we had the 805 Smash Burger w/ bacon and the Brewmaster Pizza w/ pepperoni. Everything was delicious and fresh. Love coming up here from Southern SoCal to enjoy the local provisions. We will be back...thank you!

I had an incredible outing with the very best of friends at Firestone Walker in Paso Robles. We savored the absolute delight of the 805 Smash Burger and the Cal Poly Ale, both of which were fantastic. The staff was exceptional, attentive, and made our experience memorable. The convenience of the ordering app made keeping separate tabs a breeze. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful establishment!

We took the brewery tour with Chris, our guide. He was informative and knowledgeable, able to provide information on the brewing process, as well as answer everyone's questions. After the tour was finished, we landed in the tasting room where we were able to taste all the beers talked about during the tour. Reserving tour spots beforehand is strongly recommended. Wear closed toe shoes unless you want to wear their "tour boots."

I was really excited to visit the Firestone Walker taproom. I was staying in Avila and saw it on our way in on Friday. So we decided to make a 40 min trip back to the taproom on Monday.

I feel like calling it a taproom is disingenuous. When we arrived, we were told to check in with the hostess. Not the most pleasant person. She told us it would be a 45-minute wait. All we wanted was to grab a couple of beers and talk. Too bad, everything is reserved seating, not even the bar is "open". I decided to go to the bar and grab a beer anyway. I asked the bartender where to sit, he said "see the hostess". I asked "do we just stand here and drink our beer"? He looked at me and said "if you want". That's it. I drank the beer and left. Won't go back. Terrible experience. It is a restaurant, not a taproom. The employees are rude. Beer was good. Disappointing to say the least.
