This place has exquisite dishes and stellar cocktails! I tried the minosa and the white sangria, and both were phenomenal and raised my standards for those drinks exponentially. The biscuits and gravy were savory and filling, and the breakfast sandwich was flavorful and flaky! Definitely worth every dollar - nothing in the valley compares to their breakfast cuisine.

Excellent!!! We were pleasantly surprised. A bottle of wine and food pairing totaled around $100 per person. I will return and would encourage others to check out this exceptional restaurant in Palmer!!

First time visit. Delicious food. Great location. I loved the intimate nature and vibe. It wasn't a busy and packed restaurant. I liked the prix fixe style. It's awesome that the meals change weekly and local ingredients are used. Highly recommend.

Stumbled upon a blog post on Alaska Explored that brought me to this gem of a restaurant. Pricey but worth it for the quality and deliciousness. It was filling. Definitely get a dessert and adult beverage to top it off. 10/10 recommend.

Our first time trying Feather & Flour and WOW, the atmosphere, servers, and food were spectacular! Worth every penny and the bread, dare I say, is the best I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Anchorage/Palmer area!

My husband and I went for my birthday, and I've gotta say this was by far the best fancier dining experience I've had living in Alaska. We started with the focaccia, which was a very generous portion and VERY good. Our first courses were the shoyu salmon poke and the arancini; I don't eat fish and the poke was delicious, with a great texture, and the arancini was also really good. Our second courses we got the curry carrot potato soup and the fall harvest salad, which were both incredible. The third course we got the squash gnocci and the beef tenderloin. I was a little unimpressed with the gnocci, the gnocci was really large so I think the texture was amiss because of this. The beef, however, was great! For a drink, if you like a sweet cocktail, I cannot recommend the appletini enough! Service was absolutely wonderful and we were served quickly, food came out hot and everyone was very friendly! They do a birthday dessert if you celebrate with them, a simple yellow cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles, which was honestly a perfect ending to an overall great dinner!

Feather & Flour in Palmer, Alaska is truly redefining what it means to dine in the Last Frontier. Nestled in the stunning Mat-Su Valley, this restaurant brings the farm-to-table philosophy to life in a way that few places can. Every dish here feels like a tribute to Alaska’s rich, rugged landscape, from the fresh local ingredients to the carefully curated wine pairings.

The meal started with roasted local carrots paired with house-made ricotta, honey, and kelp—a unique combination that set the bar high for the rest of the evening. The Caprese salad was bursting with flavor, featuring vibrant local tomatoes and a garden-fresh pesto. The highlight for me was the Kodiak Weathervane Scallops, served with a smooth potato purée and winter squash, paired perfectly with a dry Riesling.

What really elevates Feather & Flour is the attention to detail. The service was impeccable, with the staff providing insight into the origin of the ingredients and thoughtful wine pairings. The setting—a cozy 1950s house—adds to the intimacy of the experience, making you feel like you're dining in the heart of Alaska, surrounded by towering mountains and glacial rivers.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, Feather & Flour offers an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the beauty of Alaska through its food. It’s no surprise that this restaurant has gained such a loyal following, and I wouldn’t be shocked if it eventually earns Michelin recognition. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place is in high demand.

Quaint little house turned into a restaurant that serves upscale food with locally sourced ingredients. They were able to get us in even though we did not have a reservation and showed up after there normal table seating times.

I got their garden salad with blue cheese dressing - all ingredients were fresh crisp and tasted great. The micro greens and fresh flowers on the dishes were a nice touch. They used bread crumbs instead of croutons which complimented the delicate salad.

Husband got the salmon chower which he said was really really good before he inhaled it. It smelled amazing but I did not try it myself.

We ordered a bread starter which was a crispy foccacia bread served with herbed oil and vinegar. Honestly it was probably to much bread and we ate it all it.. practically stuffed ourselves. It was fluffy and soft while being crispy and flavorful.

We both ordered the beef tenderloin which was served with mash potatoes broccolini and carrots. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly and topped with a brown gravy that was just the right consistency. Vegetables were not over or under cooked and again seasoned perfectly. The tenderloin it self was an excellent cut and was very tender but not mushy. It was also seasoned very well with what I am assuming was a peppercorn rub.

The servers were working their buts off being prompt friendly and courteous. Kitchen staff was on it as well and dishes came out in quick order. Basically as we finished each dish the next wasn't far behind.

Not pictured were two cocktails. Matanuska mist and wildflower margaritas. Both light and refreshing in their own way and honestly would have ordered more if we stayed longer.

For being our first nice meal post partum I give it a 5/5 .

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Every dish was 10/10 with fabulous fresh ingredients. For example, potato leak soup doesn’t usually wow anyone but my husband said it’s the best soup he’s ever had! Couldn’t recommend enough!
