We make it up to New Bedford for my wife’s NBHS 10 year reunions and one must eat at destination is Fay’s. I look forward to enjoying the Linguica Pizza and I’m satisfied each time. It’s too bad y’all are too far from NOLA to consider delivery! (Photo from our 2013 trip-looking at it makes me want to order a linguica pizza so much!)

I tried to take the high road in regard to this review, I tried sending a private message through their web site but since I got no reply at all and reviews here have a response I decided to put it here. Thursday night is pizza night in my house. Last week, I placed my take out order at 4:38 pm. I was told upon arriving there that they were a bit behind. A bit behind in my mind is 5 to 10 minutes. I did not get my pizzas until 5:40 pm, a full hour after placing my order. To make the evening even more of a disaster, I knew as soon as they handed me the boxes that the pizzas were not hot, meaning they sat somewhere for a while. I didn't complain right then and there because I figured I would just reheat them when I got home. I was totally wrong on that count. Not only were the pizzas cold, they had been overcooked to begin with making the crust crumbly and in most of the areas blackened. Add in the typical lack of sauce and I had 4 dry pizzas that no one in my household wanted to eat. With all due honesty, generally the pizza is pretty good even with the lack of sauce. As I said in my private submission, bad service combined with substandard food can happen when being short staffed but not answering a consumer's complaint is just bad management.

I Ordered Food & Someone Stole My Food Because Two Delivery People Went To This Restaurant 1 Hour Apart waiting For My Food & They Didnt Have It Ready. Then They Handed My Food Over To Just Any Random Person
When I Called To Figure It Out They Couldn’t Tell Me Who Has My Food Meanwhile DoorDash Won’t Refund Me Because No One Picked Up My Food. So I’m Out $70 Because No One Want To Take Responsability

I ordered food to go. And wasn’t satisfied I called Fays And they were willing to replace it. I couldn’t make it back there on Sunday so they let me get it on Tuesday.
