Third time we have bought livestock from Farmington livestock auction third time the third time we have had issues this last bull calf died less then 6 hours after we picked it up looked like it's had been sitting there for a few days before the auction with being fed.
Called Clay and talked to him he refused to refund our money tried turning it around on me like it was my fault will never purchase livestock from them again

This places small animal sale SUCKS it's huge don't get me wrong... but they have small children throwing and dragging cages... the adults kicked small goats last night the way they hit them its terrible and goes against livestock handling laws... small animals there are not worth selling... each of my birds went for 10$ or less and they still charged a 3$ commission.... some people's birds sold for less than 3$ per head so they actually had to pay the place to sell and made no money... selling goats get ready to pay 15$ per head for commission and even a cute baby only sold for 40.

Great place to go for animals, only change would be ti bring back older auctioneer. He explains the animal, d I sent rush the bidding and you can understand him. Younger guy is very fast and pushes animals through with no explanation.

Love going to the tack and horse action. But I haven't been in awhile. Just to many people standing in the area where they sell. Can't even see half the stuff they are selling because of people standing in the way. I've tryed bidding on stuff to but the person looking for bidders couldn't see me because people that didn't need to be in their were in the way. If they would thin out the people that don't need to be in the selling area it would be a great place to go. My mom is their now as I type this and sent me a pic. All they can see is people in the selling area... Bummer

Always have a lot of horses, my only complaint is they let people in the arena while selling tack which blocks the view of prospective buyers. KEEP EVERYONE OUT OF THE ARENA DURING BIDDING PLEASE.
