I called around to get the best price possible on propane. I am a single mother, on a tight budget, and I needed only 250 gallons to get me thru the winter until I moved in the spring. I was very up front and honest with my $$ situation but I told them that I had cash up front to pay, could they please help me out? Apparently being up front an honest was my mistake. Jeri in the office was very nice and she told me that I would need to contact Mike Gerst to schedule a leak check. That was Friday. On Tuesday I called him and asked if we could schedule a time. He sighed and said, "To be honest, I don't have time this week. The guy who delivers is gone, and I only have one truck. The soonest I can get there is maybe sometime next week." I ask how soon next week? Early or late. He sighs again, sounding annoyed and flat out says, "Aren't you moving out of there in a couple of months? You purchased from someone before haven't you?" I says yes, but they were higher in price. He then says kind of in a disgusted voice. "Well to be real honest with you, I just don't have time to run out there and take care of this." Even though I was furious, I politely said, "Okay. Thank you very much!" in as nice a voice I could and hung up on him. So sorry Vision Ag, and especially YOU Mister Mike Gerts that my small $350 is not worth your time and effort. I'll find someone else to help me heat my home so my 3 year old daughter won't freeze this month and can have a warm bath at night. Plus - I will be sure to tell everyone I know about the crappy service I got from Mike and recommend someone else. Karma really sucks Mike. If this is how you treat your customers - even the small ones - good luck with that.
