It's convenient because it's close to home. That's about the only redeeming quality. They sell outdated products (even refrigerated items) and just clearance them. I have gotten milk from them twice that was dated for 7+days out only to get it home and open it to smell absolutely sour and spoiled. Which typically means it was stored at improper temps. Their produce is also usually in pretty bad shape. This store needs better management to amend these issues. I will say the bakery does a really good job.

I have shopped here for many years and this is a really good store. Nice selection of choice cut meats, lunch meats, cheese, canned and dry foods. Quality brand name items. Great selections of all kinds of fruits and vegetables as well as frozen foods. Wide selection of snacks and drinks as well as magazines over the counter medicines and personal hygiene items and pet food and items.

Only go here for a few things cause it's close to my house..the produce is nasty will never buy any of it..walnut hill shop n save is better..

I have to praise the employee Anita! (And the bakery). She, and the women in the bakery, bend over backwards to help you! Most of the time when I look online the store is supposed to have what I need. 99% of the time, this store does not have it. But this morning I needed something seasonal that, of course, the store did not have in stock. In a dilemma, Anita pointed me to the bakery girls, who, in the past have been excellent with their service! Bottom line...these women are doing a fantastic job and need to be commended! Thank you Anita...you made my day/week!!!!

Last few times shopping here cashiers are rude. They can't be bothered to do their job. I asked for assistance because store offered coupons would not scan properly. The cashier came rushing over, slammed down the coupons, and started swearing. My small daughter is standing beside me, but she didn't have enough respect to stop swearing. Oh and the produce is always rotten. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I have been shopping there for 20 years. I shop there basically to support the business in the neighborhood. I will admit that for the most part, the cashiers, meat and deli employees are polite and respectful. However, I recently had an issue with my “Perks” card, I wasn’t getting a receipt and did not know what my gas savings were. The cashier directed me to “the lady in the office”. I spoke to the lady in the office, She acted as if I was bothering her. She looked my card number up and told me my card did not exist. I said how can that be, I have been using this card for more than the past 5 years. Again she seemed a little irritated, not very polite, and not appreciative of me as a customer and did not want to pursue the issue any further. I told her she was not listening to me, I had this card and was using it for years. She looked at me in disgust, stated that her laptop died, and offered to give me a customer service number to call. I said thank you, just forget it. As much as I appreciate the other employees and the convenience of local shopping, I will take my business to Walnut Hill or Walmart delivery. I don’t like feeling unappreciated.

Nice meat selection and most times lower priced better quality than Wal-Mart usually well stocked good employees many that have been there for years...keep your money local shop local keep stores like this alive we need them in our community.
