I had a great experience rescuing horses from Fabrizius. Amanda is very nice and helpful and answered all the questions I had. The horses all had feed and water and the facility is well maintained. I highly recommend saving a horse from here, I think it's amazing that they give people a chance to save them before they ship off! That's certainly something they aren't obligated to do.

My experience at fabulous horses has been a very good experience the horses their are taken care of I have rescued 2 horses from there and both times it was a good experience everything ran smooth now I do have too say it's hard to see so many beautiful horses just thrown away like that by their owners it's hurtful in the owners part to be so heartless to their own horse to send them to such a horrible faith like slaughter and that's in the owners part but fabulous horses is one of the better kill pens out there I've been to several

While it may not be easy to see all of the lame, sick and thin horses, one can not overlook that they CAME to the lot that way. They do not get that way in a matter of a few days on the lot. It is great for these horses to have a second chance at life after their owners who they have devoted their lives, bodies and health to for their entire lives dump them at an auction lame and old and unwanted.
I have been to this facility several times. They are always taken care of given the circumstances that their owners put them in. The pens are clean and have fresh water at all times. They hay bunks are sometimes empty towards the evening, but I have also seen her out in the mornings feeding them.
I have always had good experiences with them he horses that I have purchased, even made one a halter champion at two local show circuits! Jason and Amanda have always been kind and helpful to me. Happy to have my boys

Ive been doing business with Fabrizius Livestock since 2015. I’ve bough numerous horses from them over the last 5 years. I still own 2 very great horses from them. They have always been honest and true to what they know about the horses. The horse business is a tough business to be in and if you think it’s all roses and lace then well you aren’t actually doing business. Fabrizius have a hard job and they are something the industry needs. There place has always been super clean. Automatic waters in each pen that have fresh water year around. They are a feedlot basically for horses on their way to slaughter so they are fed up with ground alfalfa and corn to get a few extra pounds on them before shipping. Condition there are always in favor to the horses that come to them in many different poor but also fairly good conditions. Fabrizius give a lot of the horses a second chance to find a new home before being shipped to slaughter. I think that is fabulous that they do this. I will continue to do business with them for many more years as well.

I'm really upset that people who haven't been here are allowed to leave reviews. Yes a horse passed away of pneumonia...but to take pics and accuse them of not feeding is crazy. If you get paid by pound...you're going to feed. Ive been there numerous times and they have automatic water and always have food. Its ground alfalfa and corn and someone said they feed dirt. They allow you to come and see the horses and also work with the rescues and private buyers if they are interested in a horse or horses. Amanda provides the most accurate information she can get in the brief time she has with each horse during intake then goes over and above to get people more info when asked. We have several horses from here and while some aren't perfect they are beautiful family members for us.

I’ve been going to this lot almost weekly for a long time and as far as kill pens go, they have one of the best facilities. Horses always have food, automatic waterers, and the owners are nice people. They offer these horses one last chance to the public to get a new home which is very generous of them. My horses are all rescues from this pen and I am very grateful for the lot offering them a chance.

This place is a great place to save a horse and give them a second chance I have saved 3 from here and they are and were the best horses I’ve had. They take good care of the horses and if it wasn’t for them giving them a second chance these horses wouldn’t have the chance to get good homes and be used for there potential. There are many horses who have come from this lot that have become big show horses or help kids or bring happiness to people. Thank you fabrizius for everything you do!

In every instance I’ve seen the horses have plenty of food and water, and they spend a lot of time taking pictures & giving honest feedback to give all the horses there once last chance to be rescued. I don’t know of any other feed lot that makes such an effort. Keep it up, and thank you for your efforts!
