We recently had an event here. Tyler, the General Manager, was so easy to work with. He replied promptly to all my emails and answered all of my questions. The night of the event, Leah was our bartender. She was kind, attentive, and helpful. The food was very good and we were able to take home any leftovers. I would highly recommend Erie Brewing Company - West Side if you are looking for a venue.

Nice atmosphere both indoors and on the back patio. The servers only bring your drinks, you must order and pick up your food from a window next to the bar.
I did not enjoy the perch tacos. The soft shells were too firm. There wasn't enough flavor such as lime or cilantro. I did enjoy the triple chocolate brownie.

Stopped here as a pit stop on a long drive for a quick snack and a glass. Everyone was super nice and the beer was, obviously, excellent. It was the kick off of burger week and I thought the burger was excellent. The poutine portion was massive and I do love a good gravy. I like the seasonal decor, and I am certain this is a killer spot to hang out.

We came through Erie on a random Monday evening on our travels across the country on our way to Canada, and decided to stop here based on some reviews and the local atmosphere. Everything we were hoping that would be came true. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and we had a splendid time out on their expensive deck.

Our server Saige was super friendly and made our experience memorable! She may also have healing properties for haunted houses, but this is where she really shines!

We went in so hungry, but found the place empty. Chairs were on the tables and no replies to hello. It was nice and clean place. Nice parking area and all clean. If closed, the door was open. We saw cars in the lot.

Erie Brewing includes the Birchwood Inn. Erie is beer, Beechwood Inn is Food. They have a bizarre procedure for food. You check in with a hostess to be seated. We had a 20 min wait even though the place was 75%empty so I guess they have a kitchen staff shortage. Once seated a waitress takes drink orders, an Erie transaction with a separate check. For food, you go to a window to order and pay then return to your table. A pager tells you when to go back and pick up your food. Then go to a separate station for utensils and condiments. Interestingly, the person taking the food order expected a tip even though she never left the register!
The food was OK. Nothing special. The atmosphere was OK. Lots of merchandise for sale. And everything was tourist pricey. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. The staff trolling for tips was really poor form. Oh, pay attention to the menu. Very poorly written. I included a pic of the fish taco description. You can try to figure out if the standard is perch or Mahi mahi.

Really love this place, the manager turned on the fireplace for my dog my wife and I outside and recommended the pumpkin beer, which was probably one of my favorite pumpkin beers I’ve ever had.
