Great service, decent prices, friendly staff. For a local non-“specialty” type of bike store I couldn’t be more pleased and hope they stay around. For super specialty road shopping I still make the trip up north to Mikes - or order online. But for an in town place I can ride into and get friendly answers from a qualified bike mechanic; plenty of basic needs in stock; + they can order almost anything else I would need - this place is worthy of the best rating allowed.

The staff at Epicenter Cycling in Pacifica is incredibly welcoming. They're all friendly and knowledgeable. They handle every service request promptly and with the same level of care and diligence, regardless of size. You really feel like you're at a local neighborhood bike shop, not just another big corporation.

Everyone working here has been so great. They really took the time to help me pick out a bike that perfectly matched my needs. They let me test ride the bikes and helped me customize my bike with a seat and ergonomic handgrips so my ride is comfortable. I also bought a new helmet there too. The customer service is superb!

The wife and I love supporting our local businesses so we went to Epicenter Cycling 11/12/23 to check out their selection of E bikes. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!!! There was no pressure and they took the time needed to accomidate us. They answered every question we had and even let us take test rides. Yup, at the end of the day, we bought 2 Trek Powerfly 4's at an awesome price! We couldn't be happier! This is definitely our go to place when it comes to bikes! We'll be back!

Caleb took great care of my son's E-bike. I was concerned that it was going to be a costly repair since it has such unusual tire sizes. Caleb not only brought the front wheel back to true, he also noticed his brake discs were also off, so he fixed them. When we came to pick it up, he said it was actually much easier than he had estimated, so he even gave us a discount on the estimate. I was Very happy with the integrity and honesty that type of decision displays, I will be bringing all of my families bikes here for service, and the next bike I need to purchase will be coming from Epicenter.

I recently visited Epicenter Cycling in Pacifica with the intention of purchasing a bike in the $5-8k range. I had scheduled a demo bike for the day prior, but when I arrived, nothing was prepared as promised. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the mechanic to sort things out. It would have been appreciated if they had prepared the bike in advance to save my time.

When I was finally ready to leave, I noticed the bike wasn't charged. I had to take the charger home and spend another 90 minutes charging it. This cut significantly into my $100 demo day, and again, charging the bike beforehand would have been considerate.

The final straw was when I got to the trailhead and discovered the bike's electrical components were non-functional. Clearly, no one had inspected the bike to ensure it was in working order.

Hoping for some accommodation or at least a considerate response, I approached the store manager. Instead of understanding or assistance, I was met with an attitude that suggested my concerns were an inconvenience to him.

I expected a certain level of customer service, especially given the significant purchase I was considering. Unfortunately, I encountered none. This entire experience was a complete waste of my day.
