What a bummer, I've been coming to Elixir in Mammoth since they opened and loved it. However tonight was a big let down. Greated by no one, it was clean a new young gal was doing her best to keep up while the old gal working had the other younger worker go on break 20 minutes before they closed. The older gal working was busy stalking and cleaning not helping the guest.

Now to the salad! Paid $24 ordered on their tablet so I'm clear i asked for extra items, extra sauce and got nothing I paid extra for. I ordered extra dressing and when I watched her make it she didn't put extra. The salad was just ok to say the least.

I may try it again, but maybe not.

Bummer it's the only place to get good, healthy food to go. Maybe work on the staff and the food gets better.

‘When you offer less service you get less quality service’ is the impression I am having with elixir. I have been coming to elixir during my summer seasons working in the area for over 5 years. I love the food and they hold a market being the only healthy food option in town. It’s not uncommon to have a less than friendly interaction with a staff who doesn’t seem to want to be there but never nothing at all. Since last year I saw them shifting from customer service based to more kiosk and online and today was the first time I went in this season and I’m hoping I just caught everyone on a “bad day”. Literally the coldest service I’ve experienced there. No greeting or acknowledging with only two other customers in the room, when I placed my order on the kiosk I hung out going outside to check on my dog in the car while waiting. I return and tried to give a polite smile to the guy making the bowls who glared back at me!! Crazy, and then I noticed my food on the little side counter by a girl stocking drinks. I made a comment how I didn’t know my food was up and how everyone seemed so quiet to which she said she’s autistic and antisocial. The vibe is so opposite of the purpose of nourishing(expensive) food.
If it wasn’t the only health food place and the only place in town I eat as a vegan when I come down the hill I’d not return due to the customer service. It’s a tourist town yes but it’s also a small community where how you interact with others matter. Sucks!!

This is one of my favorite places to eat after a day of skiing at Mammoth. It's healthy nourishing food that is hearty enough to last you til the end of the day! The Thai Buddha bowl is excellent, and I also like the Tikka Masala bowl. I've noticed this year that the service has really declined! They now have kiosks that you order your food at. The staff doesn't really greet you when you come in, or even look at you. When I was here a few days ago, the kiosk wasn't working. The woman at behind counter said she could help me if I wanted but it would be a while..then the employees were all talking amongst themselves about another person using a racial slur for Hispanic people. The food is still good but the customer service is mediocre at best. I also really miss the bulletin board they used to have where you could purchase a free boost for someone in the community and leave a note. The good vibes seem to be gone here.

I hate to give this review about the service because I love Elixer's food and I personally have had good experiences with the employees in the past. However, I think it is absurd that customers are encouraged to order solely from the kiosks instead of from people. Not only is this unaccommodating to older (or generally less tech savvy) people, but this also takes away from the employees generating tips. A place that offers food should encourage its employees to interact with customers as much as possible. Who is going to put a tip on a bill generated by a machine? Additionally, even if you are apt to tip a machine, this method encourages employees to be less social, less friendly, and give fewer s***s about the quality of the product they are producing. Whoever in management came up with this idea should be ashamed of themselves! I am very disappointed with how Elixer has stooped to this level. It's no wonder I only see 3 star or fewer reviews on Google for this place now. I can only pray that management pulls their heads out of the clouds to read these reviews and see the flaws they have forced their business to be defined by.
That all being said, the employees who I interacted (however briefly) with today were all smiles and politeness. But I can see how other customers might have had poor experiences with other employees.

Follow the locals...as I did. I was recently at the local Athletic Club and asked the front desk where I could find fresh and healthy food. She didn't hesitate with her response! It's my own go-to place now. I can't get enough of the "Feel the Beet" juice and the Patagonia Bowl. The flavors just absolutely pop. Seating is available inside or out if you choose to consume on site. Clean, refillable drinking water is available, and they have a small amount of swag if you like. Highly recommend.

It’s overpriced and the employees take way too long to make the orders….despite there being 4 of them. We got our drinks 30 minutes later. Also, the poor employee was trying to stock items and was on the ground fighting with the drawer. Please get some new drawers, she made a scene grunting and trying to do her job. Açaí You Smoothie was not good, tasted like nothing… waste of money.

This was my go to place while snowboarding in Mammoth. I tried almost everything, the bowls, smoothies, soup, and energy treats. The ingredients were high quality, service is quick and vibes are great. There is a huge window which was great to eat, hang out and people watch. Hope to have a place like this in my city.

After a long day of skiing my body was crying for healthy delicious soup. I got excited when I saw the powerhouse soup on their menu made of "vegetable healing" broth! It looks good, the vegetables looks fresh, celery was still crunchy and the smell reminds me of an ancient remedy.. It tastef good too but it could have been extremely delicious soup. It was ruined by the excessive salt. Too salty. It's hard to slurp salty soup. If you put too much salt to an otherwiseo healthy meal, it defeat the purpose. Fresh vegetables with fresh healing broth no additional salt is needed. They're delicious as is!

Also, please consider not adding sugars to your fresh fruit juices or shakes. Salt and sugars are silent culprits that destroy the healthy benefits of nutritious food.. If your mission is to provide alternative healthy food to customers, adding these ingredients defeats the purpose. You blend in with the crowd instead of standing out as a unique restaurant that truly cares about serving wholesome food. You're not just another restaurant, you have the opportunity to make a big impact in this country which relies heavily on mass production of processed food.

Lastly train your employees to not talk to each other in front of the customers. Some customers find it rude and impolite
