It was easy to finish the "Super Burrito" that with a tip cost $15. First, the chopped lettuce, tomato, and onion made it taste fresh. The rice and pinto beans didn't overwhelm the dish and bulked it out nicely. The real winners were the thin strips of carne, top notch mole and verde salsas, fresh and quality tortilla, and mildly spicy slivers of what are probably anaheim green chilies. They left a mild heat on my lips with just enough marinated carne to be filling. Great choice to fill up your belly in the middle of a work day without any leftovers to worry about. Most customers seemed to call in their orders beforehand and got quicker service when they spoke Spanish.

This is a hill I will die on. Best. Tacos. In. The. City. Wonderful service, lovely people, cute little outdoor food truck restaurant atmosphere, AMAZING food. Today I had 3 chicken street tacos and they rocked my world and filled me up, the grilled chicken is perfect and I love the additions of radish, lime and grilled onions. Super affordable as well. Love El Chapin!

We came here for lunch after leaving the zoo. It was nice that they had shaded outdoor seating for us to enjoy our food. I got 3 street style tacos all different meats with a pineapple drink. The food didn't take long to get. I think the only true thing missing from all 3 of my tacos was some spice. I guess I could've ordered jalapeños with it, but my mom had 2 sauces that came with her taco plate so I made it work. It was good for a Saturday lunch.

An experience to remember. This place is a hidden gem, somehow still in a food truck (they have another food truck connected with them where they serve hamburgers as well. Haven't tried that yet. I consider myself to be a Mexican food snob, and like California Mexican food typically the best. The place has an absolutely great atmosphere. I feel like I had lunch in Mexico. The service was outstanding. The cooks and counter workers were more than kind and friendly. So much that I was surprised. They are the type of people that get to know their clients and ask how they are in a brief but fun and satisfying way. And the food... Outstanding. I've only had one item on the menu, but my plan it to become a regular customer and try most of their items. Super highly recommend!

Very good Mexican food. The place is so cute with the two different trucks and the seats, looks very nice! The burritos were delicious, full of stuff inside and so hot! The sauces are also both very hot ahah. The tacos were delicious as well, but so small! We were expecting "normal size" tacos, but these were mini.
Overall still very good, the prices are good..I would ask less for the tacos since they are so small but it's fine!

Wow, pleasantly surprised. Really great Mexican good, and yes, their carne asada fries are very good, and a huge portion. Also had their carnitas and Al Pastor Tacos, both were delish and moist. Save room the elote, it's covered in flavor. UPDATE: they have a patio awning installed now, so there's shade while you eat lunch.
