Cannot recommend visiting Dumble Farm enough! It’s a family run, lovely farm who are super welcoming.
My boyfriend & I did the calf handling/cow safari & it was such a wholesome, fantastic few hours.
The cows were obviously adorable, such a unique experience.
The family were clearly so passionate about not only the cows but all animals, wildlife & farming. They could easily squash as many tours in as they can & market heavily to make as much money as possible, but it’s clearly not what it’s about for them.
Side note, the homemade cake was also amazing.
Thank you Dumble Farm, we loved our visit ?

Was an excellent and ethical experience doing the highland calf handling and safari today, a fantastic time with the calves and then meeting many of the bigger cows. The conservation and back story really highlights the issues faced by farming today. Really appreciate the great work and education they do… Will definitely go again for one of the other experiences!

Dumble farm was amazing! The owners were lovely, very knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. I really appreciate the conservation efforts they are making for the local wildlife. The experience was perfect for a highland cow lover like me; the cows were friendly, calm, and adorable, I especially loved all the sweet calves! Even though I live down south, I will definitely be back! I had the best time, thank you Dumble farm ?

What can I say, this is a must visit if you love cows or have an interest in conservation. These people are clearly passionate about what they do and you can see how much they love the cows. We went on the highland cow safari, we met the young calves as well which made my day. Really surprised how friendly and inquisitive all of the cows were. A really great day out

Visited the farm last week, all I can say is, amazing!! WIill, James and Fi are so friendly , welcoming and down to earth, and Highlands are stunning. I did the safari and then a felting class, which was really good fun. The farm has lots of conservation projects going on too, which was really interesting to hear about. We hand tea and home made cakes too. The highlight though was the coos...so cute, well looked after, I was I heaven, especially the baby's.. I can't wait to go back it was a very calming and beautiful day..

As a highland coo super fan, this is an experience of a lifetime. I cannot tell you how excited I was and the experience was everything I had dreamt of and more. The courtyard is a gorgeous start and end to the safari. The meet with some of the coos before hand gives you the chance to stroke and brush their hair. Then the safari, now that is special. Feeding the cows and stroking them in their space was so special and something I will remember forever. The amount of information you get and the love they all have for their cows shines through. I honestly cannot recommend this experience more. And gluten free cake was the provided and that was just the cherry on the cake for me!! Best afternoon, I don’t think much will top it! Thank you so much Dumble Farm!!x
