Our first time there we sat down and waited an hour for sale to start, A man came up and told us rudely, that seat is taken. We continued to sit there as Noone else was there. Then another man came in and started yelling that's my seat you need to move, then went to the auctioneer and told him we were sitting in his seat. The auctioneer stated if a seat has a cushion in it ,it is probably reserved be respectful. We purchased a goat for $90. But was charged $100. The people seemed rude. I guess you're not allowed to sit where you can see even if you're handicapped unless you're friends with the auctioneer.

I used to have better luck selling when I first started coming a few years ago and now the animals I bring are sold under price and the eggs I got there was a rotten egg that may of jeopardize the rest of them in the carton. I don't plan on coming back unless it's to buy.(I didn't realize one egg was bad till I got to the car it was after I paid for it)
This place used to be better. The employees are nice and the food is good but it's not worth it to me to come back to sell again maybe one day to buy again and if at that.
I'm updating this. I just candled all the eggs I got earlier today from the auction. They've all started their incubation, meaning they're no longer viable for hatching. Whoever brought these in brought in eggs that had already started their hatching process. These eggs are no longer viable since I don't know how long they've been in incubation before they were brought to auction. Meaning the embryos are now no longer viable. I just changed my review from three stars to one one. They should have been checked there was rotten egg and now the rest of the eggs I got are not even good to use. I think they said these were supposed to be for either eating or hatching. Well you can't do either with these. I'm definitely not going to buy eggs again from there. I know that's not the auction fault but when I open this carton of eggs I could smell a rotten egg when I opened it and I didn't even open it till I was at the car because they showed it above to show everyone the eggs. So I wouldn't have known cuz I was not that close to smell anything. I know this is again not the auction fault. It's the seller but they looked at the eggs. I'm pretty sure beforehand or whoever opened them to show him would have been able to smell that bad egg 😡😡😡

While attending the auction, the auctioneer was auctioning off some black chickens. His statement was, "I don't like Black Women, but I like these black chickens." He was very disrespectful and rude.

It was fun, but loooong, we came in the morning and stayed til around 7 pm, and they were still going! I wanted chickens, but it's just too long to wait. The poor auctioneers, talking for that long!. And it was cold..BUT, we had a lot of fun, it was interesting, there were a lot of animals to look at, people to talk to, food to snack on, junk and odd stuff to bid on. I suggest you dress for the weather, bring a cushion to sit on, a lap blanket if it's cold, a picnic basket and food, and things to drink. Bring cages if you think you even MIGHT get an animal, boxes to put stuff in. Bring stuff for the kids to do, but there are lots of kids there to make friends with. There's a small no frills bathroom. It's worth it, just come prepared. Ya know you're gonna buy something!!!

We look forward to going to this auction every Sunday, we have been going for a few months now, you never know what you will see come through, all kinds of animals and household. Great people to be around. We drive about a hour one way just to go. LOVE IT
