We were driving through Mammoth and decided to try Distant. What a great experience! The carnitas pizza and the hazy are a great combination. So glad we stopped.

Best brewery in town. Dog friendly. Our go to every time we visit. Just heads up their kitchen is being renovated this week so a little noisy but it should be back up and running this weekend.

Nice place with good beer. We had the blonde and the kolsch…Both were excellent. Probably some of the best beer we had in a week long road trip through California.

I visit this place each time I come to Mammoth for the beers. The food is decent as well. We liked the pulled pork sandwiches but the French dip lacks flavor. Beer pricing is good but $16 for a sandwich with a bag of chips is getting out of hand.

I never write reviews, but Distant Brewing is special. Not only is the beer great, with lots of new brews all the time. It's the people. The staff is incredible. They keep things fun. They've created a fun pool playing room. They encourage live music and keep the stage available full of equipment visitors can use. Open Mic night on Mondays is especially fun. As a long time frequent visitor who grew up in Mammoth, I really appreciate it.

Very good stout! Very heavy and strong! I recommend it.

They have a couple pool tables and play music on weekends. It's pretty crowded. Parking might be difficult during peak season.

Cushy couches are also a big plus!
