Delta Organic Farm is easy to find, with a nice view. of fields, and very close-by to Amherst. It makes a good option for a family not wishing to stay in boring accommodation and the apartment which is above the garage, is clean and well turned out with a comfortable queen sized bed and a great futon (more like a low to the ground regular bed, very comfy). Great for two with kids and/or a third person. There are basic kitchen facilities. I didn't talk to Penny much, she was busy and didn't really seem to want to talk, but she was friendly and professional, and her family who live on the premises were also. I would recommend for any couple or three travelers without doubt. Clean and efficient. Good value for money. No frills.

Delta Organic Farm B&B provided us with a pastoral setting conveniently located to Amherst and Northampton. The guest suite was roomy for our family of three, but could easily accommodate an extra person. The Tempur-pedic bed and pillows were awesome! The kitchenette featured a fridge, sink, drying rack, microwave, and all the utensils we needed for the weekend. ||||Jim was a friendly host and let us take hikes around the farm property. Can't beat the price, quality, and location. We'll return the next time we're in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Delta. Jim the farmer is a friendly, gracious host. Breakfast was delicious...quiche, bacon, yogurt, farm fresh milk and sweet, ripe peaches. The one bedroom suite was perfect for my daughter and I. Its a hop/skip into town by car. Clean, comfy beds, very good shower, and a kitchenette. A few PBS channels on the tv, but if you are coming up here to watch tv, there's something terribly wrong with you. It's a working farm...don't expect the Ritz Carlton. Thank you, Jim. I'm sure we'll be back.

This is a lovely one-unit place to stay. In a home but with completely separate entrance, with a feeling of privacy. View of farm fields from the window, although located on a regular road in the town of Amherst (quick access to center of Amherst, and rail trail.) Good for chemically sensitive folks but enjoyable for others of us too. Ideal for parents with one child, with pullout sofa and a little fridge and sink. We've been back several times and will go again in future.|

This is what B&B's are all about. The Delta is a farm house on a working farm with 1 large room and a few small rooms. House has wrap around porches and several decks. Large room was very well furnished with extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was large and awesome featuring items grown on farm.

My daughter and I were visiting colleges in the area. Paid in advance. Owner cashed the "deposit' two weeks before we arrived and attempted to collect again when we arrived. No cable t.v. as promised; "kitchen" is a microwave and dorm sized fridge. The property is ill kept (not a scenic farm). Notice there are no recent reviews that are positive!
