Hi! My daughter and I were at Kaiser and notices some vendors outside. We purchased some pies from Delightful Foods Bakery. We couldn’t decide on flavors but the two that we bought are amazing! The decadent flavors, the buttery crust, they are divine! I would take a 40 minute drive to buy these again! We had a chocolate pie and a lemon cheesecake pie.

I visited the SF VA Hospital and Delightful Foods had a booth at the Wednesday Farmers Market. I bought a Blueberry pie and I must say that it was the BEST blueberry pie I’ve ever had. The filling was full of blueberries unlike most pies were their more runny syrupy. I would have shown a photo of it but I had already ate it. I was compelled to write a review. I will now make my VA appointments on Wednesday or just cross the bridge to visit their bakery. 👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽🥧🥰

I bought Pecan & Sweet Potato Pie Tarts they were extremely pricey & $8.00 a tart. I actually bought 4 of them. The crust looked beautiful but was moist texture. I guess that means not so fresh. The sweet potato pie didn’t taste like any I’ve had or make myself & I didn’t care for it. Pecan had way too much gel in it for such a little tart & needed more pecans, but had a great flavor.. It’s a No for me for future purchases.

So I recently had a 50th birthday, And my husband asked me what did I want for my birthday? I had to think because you know I had a lot of options and then I thought Ooo… All I want a Delightful Foods Bean Pie. We’ve been patronizing Delightful Foods for a few years now, and I LOVE their Bean Pie. I am extremely picky with regard to everything, especially my food. I’m the type of person to drive from Hayward to Napa for my favorite bottle of wine. Yes, they’re being pie is actually that good.

My family was acknowledged as soon as we started looking at the menu (something I really love) I purchased three pies and a ginger drink. Everything was fresh and tasty! My boys 7 and 8 left no crumbs lol THANK YOU!
