What a great experience. We has a lovely day on the farm and it was a small group. Nice to see they like to make sure the animals are comfortable and not over stimulated. We had a fun day brushing the cows and were able to learn all about the Highlands.

My family had the pleasure of visiting Deer Run Hay farm today. Kit and Lindsay were wonderful, taking the time to introduce to cows, and allowing us to brush and pet the cows. We all walked away with an understanding of the cows Care, and their unique personalities. It was a wonderfully relaxing therapeutic experience, we all couldn’t stop smiling. Highly recommend a visit to this unique experience.

My friend and I had an amazing time meeting the cows with Kit and Lindsey! They were very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. You can tell they love what they do and how much care they give the beautiful cows. It was totally worth the wait and I would recommend it to anyone! 🙂 We will be back!

Went here with my family today and had a wonderful time! Lindsey and Kit were so kind and knowledgeable. The cows were adorable of course but we learned a lot too. Cannot recommend enough!

We booked the “Meet Our Mini Cows” class and it was such a great experience! Lindsey and Kit were so knowledgeable, friendly and fun! We learned so much about highland cows while brushing their hair and petting them. Definitely recommend going and will be back again!

We participated in paint night here. It was very fun and different. Candy and Bob were excellent teachers guiding us through the painting. After the paiting was done, we got to meet a few Highland cows and learn about them and farming from Lindsey and Kit.

I highly recommend a farm tour and/or the paint nights. Farm tours are smaller groups and occur more frequently than the paint nights.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the farm. Lindsay and Kit were awesome, both so knowledgeable and you can see how much they love their cows. The experience was well worth it, getting to brush and snuggle cows, what can be better!

I am shocked to see this farm has so few reviews! I booked a farm tour for myself and 4 of my friends.

We had an intimate and fun experience learning about Highland miniature cows, brushing them, and taking in the setting.

Lindsay and Kit were gracious guides. They answered all the questions we had and were a pleasure to meet. Due to high demand, I had to book my tour back in April to get a date in September. I must say it was totally worth it.

They also of course sell straw, hay, and pumpkins. A lovely almost fall activity.
