I recently photographed a wedding at Cow Track Ranch and this place is gorgeous! The details in the bunk houses are so unique, the ceremony site was unbeatable, and the Barn is the perfect reception space with the best ambiance. The whole ranch has a very special feel. Melissa goes above and beyond and was the best host. I will be recommending this spot for years to come.

The best wedding venue we could have asked for! We hosted our wedding reception in the gorgeous wedding barn with chandeliers and a view of the sunset. We felt like we were in a movie with the sun setting over the golden hills! Our catering company had plenty of space in the commercial kitchen to serve up a two course meal. Our guests had an absolute blast at the ranch - dancing in the barn, playing lawn games outside and admiring the cows and horses that watched over the event. After the party, we stayed at the Bunk House, which is the charming rental home on property. The owner left us a bottle of wine, a custom candle and a sweet note congratulating us on our wedding! We will never forget how special everything was.

Cow Track Ranch’s owner Melissa was accommodating, kind and very welcoming when we asked to come back multiple times to see the wedding venue. She offered us a great wedding package with a value you can’t beat. Highly recommend Cow Track to anyone looking for a barn wedding venue only half an hour from the heart of Marin!

We had our wedding pictures taken here. Beautiful place with wonderful rolling hills and rustic farms. My pictures turned out amazing!
Also, great Jalapeño Cheddar Beef sticks! Delicious! Definitely worth a try!

This ranch, this land, the animals and the hospitality are superb! My husband and I got married here about 7 years ago now and It is hard to put into words just how perfect it was and how supported and cared for we felt by the owners of this ranch and the ranch itself. It felt like family the moment we stepped foot on the land. The bunk house we have returned to a couple of times to reminisce and spend a night around our anniversary in there and we will continue to return for years to come.
I am beyond thankful for this place and would not have changed a thing in the entire process of getting married and the wedding itself.

Cow Track Ranch is a beautiful west Marin property with whimsical sights surrounding the homes and barns. Enjoy beautiful wildlife in all seasons from old growth oak trees along gentle green hillsides & small native flowers in the winter and spring, to golden hills and warm, magical rock formations during the summer stays with wild bird songs fluttering through the warm summer breeze. There are great trails to tour and explore, or if you’re looking to stay cozy inside, the hills offer a grand window view. The ranch has a family run cattle operation as well that offers locally grown & harvested beef. These cattle also serve as a gorgeous sight on the property, not only home to black angus, but an assorted color of longhorn cattle! A bonus view is watching calves playing up and down the hills in the spring!
The two homes offered for AirBnB are spacious, well decorated, clean, and give the “home away from home” atmosphere. The bunk house has a cute rustic/cowboy/cabin feel, while the larger home offered is more traditional farmhouse, with elegant decor and wooden front porch feeling. Enjoy sunsets along the rolling fence line while sharing an afternoon drink on the porch, or stay inside with a cozy mug by the wood burning stove and enjoy the sounds of the ranch in all its seasons. Cow Track Ranch not only offers weekend stays, it also is a great place for larger events including outdoor and/or western themed weddings. The spacious wedding barn, facing the awe-inspiring cattle pasture, offers room for dinner and dancing. This working ranch, not only offers farm raised beef, but local spices, hand made soaps, home-grown eggs, honey, and more! It is 20 minutes from Point Reyes, San Rafael, Petaluma, or and Novato which is a nice drive for dinner or to spend time in town. Melissa is a sweet, caring, person and makes every stay welcomed, giving her greatest efforts to keep you comfortable, with that “at home” feeling. I highly recommend friends and family to visit Cow Track Ranch, as it is always a pleasure staying there, and the energy the ranch brings is worth sharing. This ranch, the people & animals that inhabit it, is a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed in your stay here!

Absolutely gorgeous location and charming mini cabin for a getaway. Plus fresh eggs from the ranch chickens. The perfect spot to decompress for a few days away from the hustle of everyday life with the added bonus of dogs, ponies, chickens and cows. Melissa is a wonderful host and you're guaranteed to feel welcome

We stayed here for a photo shoot and it was fantastic. Melissa worked with us to make sure we had the local resources we needed for our shoot, and then being able to stay on site was a fantastic experience. The bunkhouse was a great hangout and we felt right at home.
