Coors Brewery Tour - Golden, Colorado

This tour is a must do while in Golden. From the beer to seeing how everything is done on such a large scale was amazing. The gift shop was great and the beer samples were great as well.

The tour was everything and more of what we had expected. Our tour guide Sam was amazing, funny and very knowledgeable!! The samples of beer were refreshing. The gift shop is very well stocked with Coors merchandise. The tour is highly informative and recommended to anyone visiting the area.

10/10 recommend booking a tour whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town. The tour way amazing & engaging but beyond that, the staff is what really makes the experience. I was a little late and thought I would miss it and they went above and beyond to let me on the next bus (note, listen to the arrive 15 minutes before the tour note on the “before you go instructions🫠) They were incredibly kind, friendly and professional, I haven’t been on a better brewery tour than this.

The Coors Factory tour is interesting and well organized, giving a good look into the brewing process and the history of the brand. It’s a fun experience for beer enthusiasts and worth checking out if you’re in the area.

However, I wouldn’t recommend getting any of the Colorado exclusive beers during the tour. They just didn’t live up to the hype and weren’t as enjoyable as their standard offerings. If you’re looking to try something special, you might be better off sticking with the classics.

Overall, it’s a cool experience, but the exclusive beers were a letdown

While visiting our son in Colorado Springs we were lucky enough for him to have booked us all a tour. The staff from beginning to end was fabulous and our guide Mike was great, informative with a bit of humor.

I have to be honest, I haven't had a Coors Banquet since the 80's and it was great to enjoy a glass of that again. It's amazing how many things you learn Coors is involved with and loved learning it's a lifelong family business and that process of their beer making. The town of Golden is adorable as well.

I had no idea the Coors brewery tour as such a big deal! Stumbled upon it and thought we’d check out the tour. Reservations were sold out for the next 3 weeks, woopsie!

Word to the wise, reservations open every 25 days and fill up fast! However, since it was slow, so they let us check out the gift shop & hospitality room (which is the last stop on the tour). For $10 you’re served 3 beers and can view some memorabilia in the room. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Also, it was pretty fun to be served a Coors Banquet straight from the tap at the only place it’s ever been made! Def recommend if you like beer. If you don’t like beer, the history of a family run business that’s survived for over 150 years, is pretty interesting and inspiring!

The process of online booking was very straight forward with a lot updated informations about tour availability. Arriving at the brewery parking lot and it was well marked and staffed accordingly making the parking experience very simple. The staff directed us where to check in and catch the shuttle bus over to the brewery. The shuttle staff was very kind and drove the bus with care to get us to our destination. When we arrived they gave clear instructions on how to enter the building. Inside the brewery the staff members checked us in and organized us depending on what package we had paid for. We paid for the hospitality lounge - no tour. The hospitality lounge is very cozy and clean like a hometown legion with very kind staff. The walls have all the lights and knick knacks you would expect displaying the history of coors, molson and the brands they brew. The array of choices for our 3 drink samples was excellent. The only down side is I can’t purchase any Colorado native in Canada!! It was delicious!! The hospitality lounge was excellent and the price was amazing. The gift shop is wonderful and has a ton of selection. Overall I would recommend this to anyone coming to the Denver area.

I haven't been on the tour myself. Am I complaint might be a little esoteric. I was riding on the clear Creek trail trying to access the beautiful mountain that exists behind this factory. But it was like a wall of industry separating me from nature. There are like five roads and four trails that all just run along this factory. I understand for security purposes that you guys need to enforce your private property, but it would be nice if there was a way to access the trail through the factory somewhere. I don't understand how a beer company can become powerful enough to have control over three separate roads. Though, that can probably be answered by looking at the size of the houses that are slowly climbing up the beautiful rock face. I've included some pictures from when I actually did finally get to the mountain. I was able to see the entirety of golden and it was gorgeous. But the sheer amount of massive Mansions that are here is disconcerting. Furthermore, it seems like there's a few that are being constructed further up the mountain and I'm concerned that the government might be selling off bits of this national Park to make ends meet. I just want to know of coors is going to do anything to address any of this. I know not all of those people work for you, And again, I understand the importance of having a secure safe work environment. What does a Colorado resident who's lived here my entire life, It was incredibly frustrating to not be able to turn right for so long. It could be a nice way to end your guys's tour, maybe drop them off at the trailhead and let them appreciate something natural for a little bit. I mean you guys put the mountains on your beer cans and bottles. So you must be able to recognize their beauty.
