I surprised my husband with a meat tour on Saturday. SO GLAD we stopped at Cook's meat locker! A great assortment of brats, sticks and jerky. We grabbed a few items and immediately broke open the Honey Swiss sticks and headed towards our next stop. First words from my husband "Boy, thats good." I have to agree, they were fabulous, well blended with a good bite.
We have a cabin in the mountains with grand kids for the aspen glow and some trout fishing in the fall. We will be stocking up before we go with treats for the family at Cook's for sure. Great start to a great day.

*Absolutely do not recommend* $497 for one deer. The lady on the phone is very rude and another guy came out complaining that we couldn’t take his cardboard box. The young kid behind the cash register is pretty nice. this is the second time I have dealt with this place. both interactions were very negative I will take my business elsewhere!

Great service. Always answer my questions thoroughly and so many options of everything. I love the bacon deer sticks honey pineapple and bacon cheddar is the best. The fresh smoked pork loins. I could go on and on great people.

Well l’m not sure how my first review was even posted, accidental I guess. Would like to apologize for not being able to remove that mistake. Just tried the breakfast brats this morning and they are AMAZING!!!! Was given that brat to try and I loved it. Will definitely make my way to Cook’s Meat Locker to see what other delicious items they offer.

We had a full beef butchered here (our family has 4 total being butchered) My mom went to pick it up. We had to supply our own containers (every other locker we’ve used provides flats), then they wouldn’t help her load the meat (she is in a walking boot due to foot problems) she had to come back with someone who could help her load it (every locker I’ve picked up meat from loaded it for me without asking). Now we just used our first package of ground beef and it had pieces of bone in it.
We did receive all the cuts we asked for.

The experience I had here was not the most pleasant, the man that helped me was what I would consider snobbish.. (after I left the review they called and told me to put in that they claim I was being argumentive, which I don't know for sure where they got that) or seemed they didn't have the most respect for their customer. I will not again bring meat here to get butchered, and will continue to make people aware of the sadly lacking customer service here.. (the deer sticks do taste decent tho)..

Wonderful place to get you meat done. They do an excellent job on bacon in particular. Also, you can stop by the store and pick up a package of brats, steaks, meat sticks, etc. It's like a luxury grocery store for meat! DELICIOUS!!!!!
