Good place for a nice family afternoon. Plenty of places to picnic with tables. There are steep steps leading to certain areas of the trail and would be difficult to navigate a jogging stroller solo. Jogging stroller a world be the only type of stroller I'd even attempt to take on the trail, but baby wearing is much easier. I included a picture of the trail map.

Imagine dozens of years ago when the acres of woodsy meadows were cleared fields, chickens and cows milled before towering barns, wagons full of quarried stone jounced along the lanes, nay the “pentways” running between meandering stone walls, and the farmer’s view was unobstructed all the way down the hill to the river. Take a walk here, stand in the foundations of the old barns, imagine.... Don’t miss the little gift shop under the former farmhouse. Great photos of what was, and wonderful buys to be had.

Nice natural area, but a bit too close to civilization to be truly peaceful. Some trails need a bit of better marking. Go any season.

Nice place for a nature walk. Not a ton of info on their website, so we weren't sure what to expect when we went. Not stroller friendly and not a ton of shade. Seemed a little deserted but a nice place for older kids and families to walk.
