What a great, small winery. The scenery is stunning. JB was happy to share lots of good information and stories about the making of their wines and the history of the property. We enjoyed all the wines we tasted and came home with a bottle of their Verdelho - perfect for a warm summer evening.

One of my favorites to just sit, decompress and sip good wine. New owner/wine maker is welcoming and knowledgeable and I can't wait to see where he takes the wines.
A must visit.

May 2021 Update:
Always a fun stop. We were last here a year ago in the main tasting room. Due to Covid restrictions the tasting was in the production area. A different feel, but very nice and interesting. Good wines, great staff.

We had not been tasting in Amador County before and were nicely surprised by the quality of the wines and wineries. The owners and wine makers, Steve and Jamie were servers. We enjoyed the wines including the barbera, tempranillo, and petite sirah. The winery offered food pairings which enhanced the experience. Great conversation and wines.

Went to California to look at some boats built in the area - and did a Hwy 16 / hwy 49 wine tour and ended up at Convergent - loved it, loved our hosts and have bought several cases to enjoy back home in South Carolina.

Convergence is always our first stop when heading to Amador and is always the best stop. They make a large selection of very good wines and the tasting room experience is fun, educational and never rushed. Stephan & Jamie (and the dogs!) make you feel at home. Obviously the Barbera is great but special mention goes to their Mourvedre, Italian Job and K Syrah. Convergence is a must stop when visiting Amador.
